Beautiful bed. Did not smell as the others reviews suggested. No missing pieces. Came well packaged and it was not hard to put together. Needs multiple people.
These bunk beds come in one giant HEAVY box (read: thank your delivery person!). Even though the outside of the box took some damage, the item is packed quite well and the parts were in great shape. The instructions are easy to follow, and every part is labeled making assembly easy. I would recommend having a second person available to help with attaching the headboard and footboard to the bed rails. I didnt have this and assembly was still easy but a second set of hands would make it easier. The kit comes with the Allen wrenches but you will also need a flat head screw driver and a rubber mallet. I would recommend these bunks!
Delivery was promised then extended three different times ove three weeks even though item was listed as in stock and ready for immediate delivery.
Bed was easy (for me anyhow) to assemble and all parts were included and undamaged.
Only thing that I did not like about the design was with the ladder.
Middle step has nothing but very short wood dowels for support. Ladder flexes at this step and will become dangerous as it will break over time resulting in possible serious injury to whomever may be climbing up or down.
I reinforced with 1/4 metal all thread rod and finished head nuts(to minimize any possible scratching) wich provides 300+ pounds of support to the step.
Manufacturer should consider providing bolts for this middle step as thay did for the top and bottom steps.
1.issue- pictured package box. The bed is quite heavy to use no protective corners not padding....thin plastic wrap doesnt count cause is for eateries and not for transportation. The box arrived whipped open on one side.
2 nd issue- labeling.
Wrong labeling numbers, that doesnt go with instructions, NO LABLELS for screws and part of the screws were just dropped loose in the little brown box that wasnt even taped properly, so the screws went all over the place raining out of the bottom from that box...gees....because of the mislabeled parts the assembly took 3 days. Seriously?!?!
Good part : the service line is good and very prompt on reply.
Their weak part they do NOT look up your order and so they ask YOU to give them the info that they should already have about the parts...so...very little help and big slow back for our daughters bedroom.
But hey....the bed ALMOST fits in her room, she is happy...
Lastly: parents, be aware the loft bed is NOT high, so the 5yo will need to bend and crawl under it area and you will need to provide with safety bump proves around the bed frame, to secure safe entrance and exit the space however is nice. Its wide enough to fit two kids on it and the stairs have 1 shelf where to place books or store toys, and enough space to fit in flat topped play kitchen, a toytrunk and a toy house.
New addition: the screws has to be checked on every next month, because the bed is VERY wobbly! Read reviews about this product from various buyers- same problem!
I was a little nervous that ordering $400 bunk beds with a slide I was going to be getting some particle board, impossible to assemble, poor product. Frankly I was okay with this because I figure my now 4 year old wont think these are cool anymore when she is 12 and I didnt want to spend thousands on high end bunk beds. But I was definitely wrong!
I assembled them solo in about 2 and a half hours, all pieces accounted for, nothing damaged, and everything fit easily together. Everything is real wood except for the actual slide portion. It looks awesome and my daughter is thrilled. $400 is a bargain for these. We ordered 6 inch mattresses and they are the perfect height for these bunks.
Side note: This same exact configuration, design product is on Wayfair for about $600, under a different name. The diagrams and measurements are identical, and Im sure its the same product. Buy it here!
This product is worth more than what I paid for it! I highly recommend! My husbands comments : whoever made this... thought about it, designed it to be very sturdy and cared about the people that would be sleeping on it .
I did a lot of research on bunk beds. I needed one for my family vacation house and wasnt looking to spend an arm and a leg on something that is sporadically used. We have ceiling fans in every bedroom and small nieces and nephews that visit. This was a hidden gem. For the price, this was perfect. I was looking for something not specifically for kids, because it should be able to be used as an extra bed when needed. Each level holds 400lbs (with the mattress). After putting together my husband and i tried them out and they seemed really sturdy. He is 64 and 300 lbs.
The set up took about 3 hours. You DEFINITELY need at least 2 people. I would recommend 3 if you have it. There are a lot of parts.

I love it!! This bed is amazing. I had some issues when assembling it at the beginning but after that everything went smoothly. My kids love it.
Needs support for middle ladder step
