Purchased for my sons playroom and Im very happy with the shelving unit. It appears to be pretty sturdy. I purchased two and fastened them together to make a long bench. It looks nice.
I really love this. The cushion is on the thin side, but that can easily be replaced. Several of the little screws that secure the backing broke off but I got enough of them in and it was pretty secure. It was only a challenge to assemble because I did it alone, another person would definitely help. I wish I had room for two.
I love this shoe cubbie. It serves the function I was seeking. I was pleasantly surprised to see the unit appears to be an espresso brown in person than ebony black since espresso fits my decor better. I was able to assemble the unit by myself in less than 2 hours. I only wish the unit was a little wider and/or offered an extra adjustable shelf at each of the end cubbies for additional storage. However, the unit is sturdy, exactly what I expected, and an overall good value for me.

Assembly is not difficult, although it does require some time, around 40 minutes to an hour depending on the individual. The size of the cabinet is not that large where it would interfere or get in the way within most doorways, but is large enough to seat two people at once if they wanted to while taking off or putting on their shoes. The design and shape of the padding for the bench is well made and durable for constant daily use and for younger children, it also helps that the outer cover can be removed and machine washed if it does become dirty. Overall, I think this is a great product at a reasonable price that is easy to assemble and durable.
