It was a very good bed frame and everything is inside the headboard the only downfall of this item is that item is that I received it and it was uneven and damaged but overall a good product.
Our wood split on our king size bed. I was able to glue the wood frame but was concerned about the strength. I bought this frame which fit inside my wood frame and we have a very sturdy frame that looks like my wood bed. No creaks or movement in this frame. This was assembled in 30mins by one person. We use a low profile box spring but because the slats are close I could have only used our mattress. We have been sleeping on this bed for 3 weeks and love it.
