It could be a little more sturdy. And the twin size mattress it recommends is not accurate. There is probably 4 inches of a gap. I moved it to the middle so my child isn't getting stuck.
My two year old loves his bed and the transition from a crib was seemless!!! Some portions needed sanding due to slight shipping damage but overall sturdy and exactly what we wanted.
I bought a 12 inch mattress and was worried it would be too tall but it works perfectly. The frame is very sturdy, despite some reviews. If put together correctly, it is great. There are no pre-drilled holes, so that is the hardest part. The "gold" plates are more rainbow/cheap looking but overall they serve a purpose keeping the parts together. I love it! Would definitely recommend.

We switch to this floor bed when our daughter was a year old and it has been a game changer. It’s easy to install, sturdy and a great price. Very nice overall.

Great transition bed for toddlers
I feel this bed ( frame) is sturdy . Was easy to assemble. No scratches or missing parts . My granddaughter likes feeling grown up.
