Surprisingly comfortable, even on an older I can hardly feel the bars beneath me. Could use to be a little thicker, but all in all it was a smart purchase.
My only complaint was that the shipping time for this bed was unacceptable. It took a month to get here. That being said, the company was responsive in their messages and worked with me to make sure we were taken care of. I appreciated that as their responsiveness and professionalism was reassuring to product quality. The bed itself is very sturdy. My husband said it was not difficult to put together (instructions were not as bad as some other reviews made it seem). He even modified it so the shelving would be on the other side to work in the room, and the materials were sturdy enough for him to work with. My kids are so happy with this bed. The guard rail is a good size. The bookshelf is deeper and taller slots than I thought it would be (perfect for functionality a fitting larger kids books). It is just overall a fantastic purchase and definitely worth the money and the time it took to get here. Just buy it!
We assembled the bed yesterday, and with kids trying to help, it did take a little longer than it probably would others, but it was a fun family project. The kids all slept on the beds last night, and they love it. The shelves on the side are perfect to fit their toys, and the trundle bed is so easy to slide out, easier than others weve had before. So I do recommend this bed, as does my 3 boys.
Easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. The item ships in two boxes. The s for the beds arent as sturdy as they should be. And the wheels included for the trundle bed has already broken off. Ive replaced it along with the s with a sturdier ones from Home Depot. The item looks just as pictured.
