Ok, first thing to remember here is you get what you pay for. That being said, this isnt bad / especially for the price. I saw other reviews that talked about how uncomfortable it is, or that it was difficult to put together. I didnt find either of these to be the case. I put this together by myself in about 20 minutes. (Im 48 and in moderately good shape, just for reference.) It is a little stiff at first, but Ive had it for about a month and have definitely noticed it softening with use. Overall, if youre like me and need a couch ASAP but dont have a ton of money to spend, I would recommend this one. Eventually (probably in a year or two) I will purchase a more well made, plush sofa, but until then this will do nicely.
I put the sofa on my wedding registry because one of my cats got ill and peed all over the hand/me/down couch we had. It had appeared to be a decent sofa, for the price. We recieved it a few days earlier than shipping had estimated. It was relatively easy to assemble between my husband and I / the most difficult part was getting the lone third slider hook to latch on each side, but we finally did manage.
As far as the little pieces on either side of the backrest goes, I couldnt get them to slide on from the top for the life of me, then found out that sliding them up from the bottom is the way to go. So, they have to be put on before the backrest is put into place.
It is a bit smaller, and a bit firm, but it is comfortable to lounge on. It is sturdy enough for the 2 of us to sit on together (Im 57 and 165lbs, and hes 68 and 260lbs). It also helped the livingroom appear less cluttered, and I love the soft texture of it.
We did buy a sofa cover from walmart made to protect the sofa from pets and put that on it.
We only just put the thing together today, so we will see how it holds up. So far, I am happy with the gift.
Its a very firm couch so if you like that, youll be a fan. Definitely not a sink into it couch. However, great value and was relatively easy to assemble. The slots for the arm rests take some finagling and elbow grease, but overall, easy to put together in about 30 minutes. Recommend 2 people to put together, though could probably be done with just one person.

Survived kids
It has survived a month of 3 young kids. Not the most comfortable, but it serves its purpose.
Affordable and Practical
