We really liked the look and feel of these chairs. Aside from durability, they were perfect. They swivel and raise, look nice, and feel comfortable.
We are a family of 5 with 3 children. We got the barstools to put at the bar, so they are in a place where they get everyday use - Not a day goes by without the kids being in these chairs. We got 4 of these in Dec 2018. By July, the weld joining the vertical bar to the base had completely come apart. It started to go in June but, about a month later, it had completely separated. There was no saving the chair. Photos attached.
The remaining 3 are squeaking and rocking at the same weld joint, so we know it is just a matter of time before they are done. It's a shame because we really liked these barstools.
These chairs were SO easy to put together!! I didn't even have to sit on the floor, thank goodness since I have had knees. Great price and they look great. I gave it 4 stars for comfort since it has such a low back, however that is not a major problem for me. The seat is quite comfortable an I love the saddle style. Overall I highly recommend this product
Assembly is simple but is much easier for two people than one. Be sure to check the package for two hardware packs. A single one will leave you short a few fasteners.
When assembled, the stools are reasonably comfortable. The seat has a small slope at the junction of the seat bottom and back. Please see the photo. I can feel this slope when I push back in the chair to use the seatback. I don't find it uncomfortable but I'm aware of it.
The only ergonomic downside I see is the short footrest. I need to significantly bend my knees to use it. While this is all right for short stints, it got a bit weary after one time I sat for over an hour.
As far as function, all works well and as expected. The pin joining the stand with the seat is gas pressurized and so works well. Finding your desired height it simple and easy. The seats also swivel easily.
We're pleased as can be with these stools and so are satisfied customers. I'd only advise the manufacturer to consider a longer footrest for future production.
These are amazing for the price. They were a breeze to assemble. We have had them for about 2 weeks and have had no issue at all. We have pets and they don't attract hair. They are very sturdy and look great!
Adjustable bar stools lasted a real test; party of 27. All four held up nicely and got plenty of compliments. Setup was straightforward and required only the included Allen wrench. I would recommend these to anyone in search of quality yet affordable adjustable bar stools.
Bought these for our new kitchen breakfast bar. I didnt expect a lot but they started to get loose and squeaky in a matter of months. I expect Ill be throwing them out within a year of purchase. Definitely would not buy again.
