It took me 3 hours to put together from point of opening the carton and walking up manageable pieces to upstairs bedroom and assembling by myself. Directions were easy to follow. The bed is sturdy and looks beautiful. Yes, the welding points could be better, but for the really affordable price, I dont mind at all.
Poorly manufactured. Rolling over in the middle of the night in my sleep caused bed to sway back forth make me dizzy. I didnt feel safe on it.
The bolt holes didnt line up properly for a tight fit at the corners of the frame. There shouldnt be gaps - definitely not 1/4 ones. Also one corner leg was on an angle, couldnt get it to be straight because of the way the holes were punched. YES!!! I fully tightened all the bolts screws with real tools not the flimsy ones that comes with it! There needs to be cross bracing on the legs for a sturdier solid frame on 18 height frames. Too wobbly to trust. Might be fine on a 12 high frame but not for 18 high.
The bars for the mattress to lay on dont attach at all slide off the brackets fall off when changing sheets. I had to have help to put them back in place: someone to lift the mattress while I put them back or know I needed someone under the bed to hold them on as I wrapped the sheet around the mattress. So annoying! The bars needed to be screwed into the brackets.
I read a LOT of reviews before making purchases ,especially if not prime and having to pay shipping to and from if it does not work out. This bed had so many good reviews so i took a chance. It was delivered when it said it would be. We put it together last night and it looks gorgeous. No nicks or chips. Paint color very pretty. Directions are well written and assembly with two people was very straightforward and simple. The bed is sturdy and attractive. I am super happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.
Took longer to take out of the packaging than it did to put together, didnt even need instructions the majority of the time, just for reference for the bolts.
Went together easily, good quality, nice paint, extra hardware and instructions. Dont believe these left brains in the reviews that are struggling to assemble a bed frame. Its nice and easy. Buy it if you like it.

My problem was the middle support leg on the sides. I kept banging my foot/toes into it and being 74 with foot issues this is not a good.
As other have mention, our 2 year old likes her big girl bed but be prepared for a few things. It took us about 3 hours to build it but wanted to share a few things: (1) not all the pieces are labeled as only a few have stickers, you need to look at the end of the other pieces as they will have a faint letter that will help (2) no words on the instructions, focus on pictures to help you determine the direction of the price (3) They dont recommend using power tools but the screws are so long it will take a time and power to do it by hand - I use it but I know have two screws I stripped and will need to deal with when we move (4) on Step 3/4, you will need a second person to help put all four sides together, recommend starting the screws but not tightening them to get all the pieces align
Other than that, it is a nice bed - a few cosmetic issues and the wood would not exactly align on the roof portion (drove me insane for 20 minutes)
Ensure to go out to dinner afterwards and get a nice bottle of wine so you can drown out the anger from the building it.

Its a decent bed frame BUT I wanted gold and its mustard yellow. So that sucks.
