I am so happy with these chairs!! Not only is the color exactly as advertised (sand), they are beautiful and extremely comfy! The arms are a little wobbly when tested but not meant to support all your weight anyway. We live on the coast and these chairs are heavy enough to not blow off the dock, but light enough to easily be moved, folded and stored for hurricanes. The real test was the assembly. My husband has little patience for these things (a light hanging project came very close to making him a single man, if you know what Im sayin). He realized on the first chair that the order of the bolts install was backwards, but after that it was an easy 2 beer project for 6 chairs. Very happy with this purchase may come back for a few more!
This is a beautiful chair. It was easy to assemble, we did seal it before we put it together. Our only complaint would be no one close to 300 lbs could fit their butt in that chair.
If you are looking for a traditional sturdy / heavy duty Adirondack chair this is not it. The good news is that it is a nice chair, lightweight, comfortable, and actually easy to pick up and move.
I am a big fan of Adirondack foldable chairs. I had 6 of these chairs now and they are really easy to assemble; I can probably do it in less than 5 minutes. The first time I put one together, I had trouble figuring out the right configuration because the back of the chair needs to be in front of the horizontal bar in the back (and not behind it) so you have to keep that in mind. But after that, its just hammering in the two bolts and securing the bolt and nut with a with a wrench and enclosed Allen wrench and thats it! My only knock is that you need to inspect the chair to make sure everything was preassembled correctly. I have received a chair or 3 where the armrests were not level, or the back slats were not secured right or the hardware was missing. The shipping box will most likely arrive damaged and with holes given the size of the product, but the product itself should be able to take the beating. I have never had an issue returning a damaged item, but it is pretty heavy so I always request free UPS pickup.
The wood is thinner than the expansive ones but I expected that. I wanted a lighter version because we move them for the deck to the patio frequently. We sealed ours with a clear polyethene in hopes to make them last longer.
I ordered 2 of these chairs in white and love them. Got them a day earlier than scheduled. It took longer to get them out of the box than it did to put them together, 2 screws, 2 nuts, and 2 dowel like things. Honestly, it took my husband about 5 minutes at most to put first chair together. Second chair maybe 3 minutes. They are sturdy, strong and heavy enough that even a strong wind will not blow away as these are sitting out in the open. The chairs were fairly expensive but you do get what you pay for. I replaced 2 wooden chairs that I paid over 100 for and had for less than 3 years. They were completely rotten. I truly believe the chairs are the answer to my outdoor seating problem. Also they are very comfortable and easy to get out of unlike a lot of adirondack chairs.

We have these on deck by the lake, love it
Nice chair for the price, but not your traditional heavy duty Adirondack chair
