The package came with a handy tool thats wayyy better than the Stanford allen key. We assemble every thing using on that.
I like the velcro which fix the slats on the bed frame to prevent sliding.
Personally I would prefer the bed frame to have a slightly higher edge hugging the mattress. Right now the mattress sits directly on top of the flat platform, theres no structure to prevent it from moving besides the mattresss own weight.
A few assembly tips: put the ends together with the legs first or you will have space issues ratcheting the bolts. Put pads on bottoms of every leg. black o rings are there for a reason, use them on the metal bar. Sturdy, Bye bye crappy box spring, hello sound sleep! Great quality for the cost.
Easy to assemble, well packaged, didnt have any problems with the size of the pieces as was the case in some of the other reviews I saw here (mine is a size queen). It doesnt creek/squeak. I wouldnt say its the sturdiest bed ever but weve been using it for 2 months and it is pretty sturdy; weve had no problems with it.
The assembly instructions were not intuitive but its been a beautiful fit for what I needed Im a heavy person and the frame fully supported my memory foam mattress and was more than comfortable for sleeping.

Easy to assemble. Arrived on time and in perfect shape. Instructions were perfect and it seems to be holding up well. Now, I have an adult friend sleeping on this but if kids were jumping up and down it may be a different story but it seems very sturdy and well packaged for shipping.
