We love the Shoe Bench and recd it undamaged. I had asked to ship it in one of their boxes to insure no damage to the Bench, but it came in the box from the company . I was afraid after reading some reviews that stated they recd their Bench damaged in shipping, that we would too. So was very happy with the Shoe Benchjust the right size for our hallway. See picture.
I needed something to put the grandkids boots and gloves on to dry after they came in from the snow. So I placed this over one of my kitchen floor vents and it has been a winner! During the rest of the year we use it for additional table sitting for out grandkids. Plus it was simple and easy to put together. So what is not to love about it.
Creaky but sturdy! I am a big guy though so sometimes you just expect that. Holds about 6 pairs of shoes and I shove my sandals underneath and it works out perfectly!
Great shoe rack and bench for small areas! The cushion has a strong odor out of the box, but Im sure that it will dissipate over time. I also had one extremely stubborn screw that wont go in no matter how I position the cushion or loosen and tighten the other screws. Otherwise, its exactly what I was looking for.
Could have been so much better. Seven mens size 10 shoes will fit on each row. If it were better designed, four pair of shoes would fit on each row instead of 3 1/2. Look at the space between the padded bench and the top row. If the rows were better spaced, you could put a row of shoes on the floor below the bottom row. So, better design and, admittedly, a slightly larger product, would let you store a dozen mens shoes instead of just seven pair. On the plus side, it does seem strongly made. I feel confident sitting on it.
The metal shoe bench definitely fit our need for a compact shoe rack and bench. The size fits perfectly for our space, and overall it looks good. Assembly was also simple and easy.
However, the quality of the item itself is NOT that good. We received the item to find some of the powder/coat paint was peeling off on one side of a rack. I was able to assemble this so that the peeling is hidden from view, but it does concern me if more paint were to peel in the future. Also, there are some sharp edges where the steel was cut to form the individual pieces. It seems the manufacturer didnt bother sanding those edges, so be careful when handling the pieces.
Overall, this is a good piece but I would hesitate purchasing this one again. I would rather try a competitors item, hoping it is of better quality and have been better quality/checked at the factory.
Buyer Beware! This product states that it holds up to 440lbs, which is far from the truth. The only reason why we bought this shoe rack was because it said it could hold up to this weight. After one day of being put together, this has already broken. Mind you, this was at 300lbs, far less then the 440lbs it said it could hold. We thought this would be good for all visitors in our new, no matter their weight, it never was able to get even one visitor however. I would say this product would be able to withstand maybe 200, max, more then half of the 440lbs as stated. So, if you only need it for that much, this maybe for you, but I still wouldnt take the chance.

Company did reach out to me via email. They did eventually give me a full refund. Kudos to them for doing that. Ill give them an extra star for customer service. However, my original review still stands, that this clearly does not hold up to 440lbs, as can be seen in the photos.
Ours came promptly and it was easy to assemble but.this is only for shoes! I would not advise using the bench to sit on to put your shoes on; it just doesnt seem sturdy enough.
Easy to insall and pretty light in weight. However it is sturdy when installed and a 140lb person can sit on it confidently and the notes say it can carry up to 440lb. The iron rods are sturdy and the nuts are pretty tight, so it doesnt shake at all. The bench cushion is comfortable and just right. The cover is faux leather and so far looks pretty good. It made a great addition to my entrance where guests can now sit while taking off and wearing shoes. Earlier they had to skip and hop or sit on the stairs. It can easily hold about 6 pairs of shoes and helps keep my entrance clean. It also has a smart look and I feel happy when I see it.

5 stars for price, ease of set up, and design.
Very strong and sturdy, looks very nice and not too difficult to set up. Cost was reasonable compared to other shoe benches.
For shoes but only let kids sit on it!
