I bought this bunk bed in pink for my twin 4 year old girls. They love the bed! Its so cute. Very easy for them get up and down the latter. I feel safe for one of them to sleep on the top bunk and not fall off due to the guards around the top.
Its so easy to put together. LIKE SO EASY. Im a 26 year old female (who isnt good at putting stuff together lol) I put it together while my husband was at work and all I needed him to do whenever he got home was help me lift the top bunk to the bottom (it took literally 20 seconds) It wasnt heavy just awkward and you do need two people for that part everything else you can do by yourself. Everything is labeled very well and the instructions are very helpful. I had absolutely no issues putting it together. It took me probably 3 hours (while dealing with two three year olds and two dogs, it probably would have taken less time without them there).
It did have a funny smell to it whenever it came out of the box. The smell reminded me of paint, by the time it was put together the smell was mostly gone.
I highly recommend this bed to anyone. Its still cute whenever its two beds also. My girls were happy with it before it was a bunk bed (I should have taken a photo of that.) Im just glad they dont have two beds taking up so much room up in their bedroom. Ill try to remember to update in a few months to see how its holding up.
The assembly took a little less than 2 hours with my husband and I working together. He's incredibly mechanically inclined, so I can see where this would be quite the undertaking for someone who is not. Once together, the bed is sturdy, everything went as advertised, and my 8 year old daughter loves it!
We purchased this bunk bed, in pink, May 9th 2016 it is now July 26th 2019. My oldest daughter fluctuates between 94-104lbs. She is super rough on everything she owns so we keep her on the bottom bunk. She tore the ladder off the bed the first month we got it so we had to get some hardware and repair it. Otherwise the bed is in great condition. There was a knot in the rail of the top bunk, it came out and left a hole. Perfect size for getting tiny fingers trapped. So I had my partner fill it. Otherwise it is a great bed worth the cost. I am 5'3 and I can't sit up all the way, if I slouch I can kind sit up but it is not comfortable. I have to lean back on pillows to read to my kiddo. (Not complaining just sharing for other potential buyers.) My oldest daughter is 4'7 and she can still sit up under the bunk but it is getting close. We have a 6 mattress on the bottom bunk. Only thing I wish I'd done differently is purchase a neutral color. As much as my girls love pink it limits options for bedding and wall colors.
This is a great bunk bed and especially for the price! It took me and my wife one and a half hours to assemble and all the pieces were there. Came in great condition, no damage! Its very sturdy!! Im glad I bought it! It fits great in our kids smallish room, with tons of space leftover. For all the bunk beds similar to this one, these bunks can support the most weight, so it will last well into our kids teens. It was a great investment!
We wanted to put bunk beds in the girls room for when they visit. It was important to find a set with a removable ladder, as we wanted to put a slide in from the top bunk. These fit the bill perfectly! They were fairly straightforward and easy to assembly. Only four stars for assembly because stacking them was tricky. They are pretty sturdy, too. I have a hunch that if we used them as their intended purpose, with mattresses in both top and bottom and the ladder instead of the slide, they would be five-star sturdy as well. They are pretty, too! I'm not sure what the issue was with removing the sticker for some who commented - we used a little goo-gone and it was gone. It's been nearly a year of weekend use and they are holding up great!
I bought this for my boys. 7 and 5 . They absolutely love them. I built it myself but at the end needed help lifting one on top of the other. But easy to put together time consuming but easy..and its a beautiful bunk bed. I love it and Im very proud lol
