The bunkbed is great. It wasn't too difficult to assemble, definitely use a real ratchet to save time. The mattresses need support, we picked up some plywood from the hardware store and it works perfectly. If the mattress supports were better, I would give 5 stars.
This bed is perfect for a younger child wanting the top bunk and a teenager wanting the bottom bunk for the height of the bed. Both children being pleased. I would have rated higher on the assembly but it was a pain in the rear for myself. But once together it has been sturdy for months. I havent had to retighten anything. Thinking of getting one for my son.
Came with dents and scrapes. Even wood was chipped away. And the screw holes were either missing or not deep enough. Took over 7 hours yo assemble. Came in two boxes and bunk 2 and 3 were in separate boxes and headboard and rails were all mixed up. I should have bought the metal frame from Walmart for a 1/3 of the price. The wood screws keep getting loose and I don't feel it's safe for my 6, 3 and 2 year old
Great bunk bed however, it needs more slats for the mattresses. You have to use foam mattresses and even those slip down through on the ends- Only area of concern. Other than that its been great!! You could make your own slats but thats annoying to have to do.
Purchased for my children for Christmas present just installed and we have cracked frame and scratched wood and of course stain, Im a little upset the shipping box was in great condition! Now a few months later Im unable to request return! Single mom so I had to start shopping early and now Im stuck

We ordered the low bunk bed, and it has been great so far. It is sturdy, and we like having it lower to the ground.

MISSING BOLTS AND STILL WAITING ON THE REPLACEMENTS!
I waited way to long to get the beds then there were missing bolts and NO instructions!
