Bought this bed for my teen daughter. It was super simple to assemble. We love the rolling drawers under the bed. I would love to buy one for me in the future.
I ordered this bed to change things up in my life and I really wanted an upholstered headboard as I read before I go to sleep. I was VERY impressed with the packaging. Each upholstered piece was in an individual protective bag. The hardware was very well organized, perhaps the best I have seen. The linen fabric exceeded my expectations. And, every piece was well aligned making assembly quite straight forward. It did take some time to complete the assembly and I did use a rechargeable drill fitted with an Allen bit rather than the supplied wrench to save time—highly recommended time saver!
So overall the APPEARANCE is quite nice. After reading the reviewers (duh after getting the package) I would agree that the slat foundation system looked cheaply made. And I can see how the plastic fittings would fail over time. So I threw all of that stuff out. I cant comment on it sturdiness since it is in the trash. Instead I used the wooden slats from my old bed and laid a sheet of plywood (from my old bed) over the slats and it looks very nice.
Overall Im impressed with the finish quality and Im a very picky, gay Virgo!!
I love this bed. I bought the full size and it is pretty and sturdy. It took me 3 hours to put it together. Make sure to follow the directions. The slats curve needs to be upwards.
Everything came in a box that you will need to assemble the bed. The box is heavy, you will need an additional person to help carry it. If you have help with the bed it will take half the time assembling i . If you choose not to have help thats ok too. Overall the bed is fine and sturdy, great purchase mfor the price.
My old bed frame did not support my mattress without a box spring. This storage bed frame supports the mattress perfectly and had great storage with 4 drawers. The headboard looks lovely with my vintage style furniture.
Love the style and sturdiness. The biggest issue we had is it is heavy and awkward to move. We had to move it up 3 flights of stairs. We found it easier to unbox it and move the parts up as it was too heavy and awkward to move up in the box. There are A LOT of pieces to this bed. It took 45 minutes to an hour to assemble.

The bed is even better in person! So soft! I put it together by myself in 2 evenings.
