    Would buy it again

Bought this for our 3 granddaughters, tongues when they visit. Very easy to assemble , in one day. Had to wait for all six boxes, because they didnt arrive at the same time. We love it!

Happy so far, sturdy, fun for a 3yo

Great for my 3yo. She learnt to climb up and down in an hour. Hoping the higher perch will discourage her from running out of bed 20 times a night, plus Im hopeful to use the underbed space as a little clubhouse. My daughter has bumped her head a couple of times coming out from the under bed space. As for the ladder, Ive seen some reviews from adults using this bed and that surprises me as the ladder is narrow and really designed for little bodies. The assembly was 2 hours with two people including unboxing for us. Theres a lot of screws as each bed slat needs to be screwed into the frame. On the last slat when we tried screwing it down the frame wood cracked off, thats my only real negative. I did feel when I was searching that this bed advertised a higher weight capacity and underbed height than most similar beds, that being said it was a little more expensive than similar beds too.

    Medicare quality

Mediocre quality. Weve been using it for just under 2 months and theres already paint shops and divots in the wood from climbing up and down.

Got wrong size and color but still a bed!

I really cant say, since I ordered the twin in espresso and received the full in white. What I received is very sturdy considering I am a mostly grown man. I am using an 8 full size memory foam , and I get adequate sleep. It was very heavy and hard to move while boxed, and I will have to disassemble it if I need to move it. Assembly required a hammer and an electric drill, not provided.

    Great little bed

This was the perfect height for my child. Was able to put book shelves below amd create a reading nook/ lounge area underneath. I like how sturdy it is when put together. Would recommend.

Excellent quality and very well designed

Very happy with this purchase we looked at a similar item on Pottery Barn for 2,600 and am soooo glad we found this bunk bed instead!! Bed arrived promptly in six boxes and in good shape. Assembly was pretty simple and directions easy to follow. I do recommend paying close attention to the specific parts in the diagrams. All the pre/drilled holes and dowels fit perfectly and were well/aligned. This took about six hours to assemble over three evenings, so dont be in a rush. The bed itself is very sturdy and made of all solid wood. The painted finish was smooth and without defects. For es we ordered an 8 memory foam twin and full by Simmons from Costco//by far the best price on these es when on sale. For the trundle we ordered Classic Brands Cool Gel Memory Foam 6 from . Very happy with every ordered. They fit this bed perfectly. We would buy this bed again. Very happy and our expectations were exceeded.

Seems to be good quality after initial assembly

I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews where people had quality issues or complained of difficult assembly. It does initially appear to be a large task when you lay all the parts out, but it goes together relatively easily, ensuring the four corner posts are oriented properly is about the most difficult part. I was able to assemble this by myself but it was a but difficult to get the side rails on without help, two people for that part will be necessary for the average person. I bought this for a child but tested it first, I weigh 240 pounds and felt comfortable and didnt have any concerns when I laid on it to test the sturdiness.

The pre/tapped holes are impossible to self tap by hand

Having to manually drill out every single self/tapping screw location with a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw just to have a shot at installing this bed was the most time/consuming, wood dust/producing, and disappointing experience Ive ever had. Make sure to have a Drill on hand, as I only had an impact driver, which would completely destroy the top of the screws. The boards that the were half bowed, and the amount of room you have to screw the boards in makes it incredibly frustrating. But after hours and hours of tedious work, the bed frame is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, sturdy, and it allows for plenty of under/the/bed storage. I am 61 so I dont use the latter, I just jump in, which allows me to have 3 dresser drawers along the long side of the bed. Overall I would say get this bed if it fits your needs and you are looking for a cheaper alternative to some other beds. But keep a drill on hand, and dont attempt to use an impact driver to screw anything in.
