Made a couple mistakes due to directions not being as clear as I like. Note that this bunk set takes a while to put together. Overall were pretty happy with it. Our 8 year old loves it!
One of the questions we had when we purchased the bunk bed， if it could hold the weight of three people， two in the main bed and one person on the top bed. The bed seems to be made of a light wood， and when we completed the build， we did question if it could hold weight.
It does hold the weight!
Everyone that slept on the beds were over 200lbs.
It was not a problem. The top bunk and the trundle both had adults using them. Together， the main bed and the top bunk held up just fine， no problems at all.
Over all， Im impressed. The trundle could use extra wheels for the corners. The wheels can be bought on .

Think of a product with a little less sophistication in finish and instructions. It takes a long time to assemble the product. It took me around 6 hours with a lunch break. I would suggest that you first take all pieces out of box 1， label with a post it and then for box 2 and do the same and then start off. That way it reduces the stress of finding pieces. All pieces are marked with a dark stamp on one side for most part. In some places the marking is a bit off or light and you need to do some logical deduction based on the pictures. But at the end of it， there were no pieces missing and they all went well together. It is good to have a drill to make some missing holes. the biggest flaw I noticed was that one of the corners of the top bunk had a slightly smaller hole depth and hence sitting in a unusual way while being placed on top of the bottom part of the bunk. But a bit of drill work solved the issue. not a biggie. For most part， it is a well made set and looks good when assembled. More updates once I get the mattresses and start using it for my kids.
We bought this in 2016 and owned it for 5 years. Needless to say it got some good wear and tear but held up incredibly well， even though a move. We paid someone to assemble (my suggestion is to pay by job NOT by the hour because they take forever when they know it gets them more money!). Very sturdy construction. Stairs are a little wiggly， but not dangerous， just make sure the kids dont lean or push on the railing. Kids loved! this and I would buy again if needed and recommend to friends and family. If you are looking for this kind of bunk bed， I think youll be really happy with this model.
This bunk bed is great product !. Some other reviews stated that the top bunk is too close to the bottom bunk and that is VERY true， but that is what I was kind of looking for in a bunk bed so it works for me. It looks good and the kids love!!it!
