I don't know if I got a fluke one, but several of the parts were actually labeled incorrectly. I was trying to figure out why I had seven boards labeled the same thing when it only called for one board with that number labeled on it. Boards 13 and 14 are actually the same thing even though the manual doesn't say. Board 11 was actually board 12, and board 12 was actually 11. It definitely took some extra time to figure things out and putting this together took me almost 6 hours because they were a few times I had to take pieces off because they were labeled incorrectly.
The bed seems very sturdy for my 6 and 8 year old that is pictured. The six-year-old is standing on the ladder and the eight-year-old is laying down to give you an idea how big this is. It's nice and low so I can just bend over and kiss my child goodnight that's on the top bunk.
This bed is awesome! Very sturdy. With being sturdy means assembly will not be as easy. Assembly required An extra set of hands to get the pieces aligned. Overall my son loves the bed. I love how high the side rails are on the best I dont see any kids being able to roll over them.
The overall look of this bed is nice and while the outer frame seems sturdy enough, nearly every single slat has a knot in it. Knots create damage within the wood which causes instability. We have had 2 slats snap within the first 10 hours of having this bed. Luckily my kids were head to feet on the beds, had they been head over head this could have been a far worse situation. This bed is dangerous and should never be sold like this. When I reached out to the co. they said that they have had issues in the past with slats having knots and snapping but told me that they should be checked for this before going out to consumers. This company is negligent and has little concern for the safety of their products knowing that this is an issue and continuing to sell beds in this condition. In addition to the safety issue this bed arrived severely damaged (see photos above) there were deep cuts and scratched throughout the frame (the ones pictured are not even the worst of it.) Dealing with customer service now to figure out what to do next since we already got rid of my kids other beds - what a disaster. Do I recommend this product, absolutely not.

A little spendy for what it is..decent construction
Not a bad bed. Seems solid right now. A little spendy for what it is..I mean it is just a kids bed but went together smoothly.
