Not the real black I was hoping for but to be honest it looks like the picture so thats my problem expecting it to look different. Its more of really dark brown. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I had no problem putting this together in about 30 minutes. Really tiny. I should have paid more attention to the description. Basically its nice and all my complaints are because I didnt pay enough attention to the description.
I typically dont leave feedback unless Im truly impressed. I purchased two of these accent tables/nightstands. Put the first one together with ease in about 45 minutes. Then did the second one in 20 minutes. I know...sounds a little impossible. But, it comes with great instructions, extra parts (just in case) and little effort to follow along. Im very satisfied with the quality, no dents, scratches or broken parts. If you thought was easy... they dont stand a chance against the ease of building these accent tables. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This looks good and functions well. I read the reviews and kind of scoffed at the people who complained about the smell. How bad could it be? Its just that furniture smell, right? Wrong. After putting two of these together I was sick to my stomach and had the worst headache all night. Really wasnt sure I wanted to put these I my room. Aired them out for a day and I either got used to it, or it subsided. Only other complaint is that there is a lot of hardware required to assemble. Other than that, looks good, great small size, drawers work well, and Im happy.
Beautiful piece. I bought two. If it were heavier it would be even better. I switched out the knobs for glam pewter upgrades. Fits my room perfectly now.
I love this table!! It is very sturdy and the wood is thick not thin like some of the cheaper tables. It was VERY easy to put together! It only took about a half an hour. The directions are so easy and the screws are separated into lettered baggies. All of the pieces are lettered so it was easy to know which piece you are supposed to put together. Literally a monkey could do it! It doesnt smell like some of the other reviews says it does. It just smells like the wood! I added my own knobs so it looks more girly and sophisticated now!

I am not glad with the material. I placed a glass of water and it got a stain and it didnt come off. Very sad.

While the drawers cant handle too much weight (the bottoms are a bit too thin), overall this is a nice table. Especially for the price.
