This sat in the box for about a month before I could do anything with it. One of the metal bars for the headboard came bent inwards and it was an absolute nightmare trying to bend it open enough to insert the second piece. There ended up being at least 2-3 metal parts that were bent and needed to be reshaped with pliers before the bed coukd be put together. If it hadn't been so heavy and I hadn't waited too long, I would've returned it. Thankfully besides all that, it's been a decent bed.
The main reason I liked this bed was because of the 12inch storage area under the bed. I already had these great storage containers at about 11 and a half inches. But they do not fit under the bed. My sons toy containers are shoved in a corner of his room and now have wasted space under his bed.
The bed frame and headboard is very attractive and of great quality!
