It wasnt to complicated to put the bed together. Just dont tighten everything all the way before adding the next pieces or you will have to go back and loosen them to fit the next ones. I am a single mom and did it all by myself with just the tool they give you!
This is the perfect starter bed if your kid wants a loft bed/bunk bed. Its not tall but still has space for a desk etc underneath.
It was easy to assemble, very sturdy and not too far off the ground. Fits perfectly in smaller bedrooms or rooms with low ceilings.
It was awkward to put together. needed 3 people but pretty sturdy for my 7 yr old who is 60 lbs. I wouldnt recommend much more than 100 lbs sleeping on it.
It was exactly what I needed for my daughter. Just read the measurements because very tall things cant fit under the bed. As you can see the Barbie house had to stay out but overall easy to assemble, good quality!
4 stars because it was a pain to build!! Took forever and it was difficultto do it alone. I actually put some parts on upside down because the directions and the picture didnt relate.
However now that it is done it is cute! DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS ON THIS AT ALL!! THE SCREWS ARE EASILY STRIPPED. IT COMES WITH A SMALL LITTLE ALLEN WRENCH THATS WHY IT TOOK FOREVER.
An absolute steal! My 9 year old loves it. I love it for the amount of room underneath and its not too high in the air. Really sturdy and the stairs dont hurt her feet. Awesome and easy to put together
I looked at this bed frame and read review after review for days, hesitant to make the purchase because of all of the reviews that say it isnt stable. Im a 135/pound woman and I bought it for myself, because I live in a very small space and needed the storage beneath it (and on a budget). I assembled it by myself in about 2 hours. Yes, you need to leave the hardware loose until the bed is entirely assembled, I had to get creative about holding the opposite end of the rails up while attaching the first end, and I dropped the damned tiny hex wrench multiple times, but other than that assembly was fine. The instructions say to leave hardware loose only for the first part of assembly, but you do indeed need to leave most of it loose until completely finished, then tighten. The hardware is mostly fine, so long as you dont turn until the hex wrench is well/seated, but I did strip one screw. There are extras in the package. Ive slept on this thing twice now and I feel 100 safe on it. Again, minimal squeaking but the bed is made of all metal parts, and some movement is to be expected. I hear the minimal squeaking but dont really feel the bed itself moving much. I plan to check hardware if the bed ever starts moving when Im on it, but I think this is going to work fine for me. I ended up removing the ladder because its made for kids feet, not adult feet. Though it probably would have been fine, I had a step stool thats the right size and works better. I am also considering removing the side rail facing the open side, but it may be needed to keep the stability, so well see. I just wanted to add a review about an adult using it because I cant imagine Im the only adult wondering. The directions say 200/pound weight limit. I am 135 and its working great for me. Glad I made the purchase.
Update: two months later and Ive moved the bed to put an area rug underneath it. When I put it back on the rug, I re/tightened all of the hardware in case it had loosened when I was moving it around. Since then, it hasnt squeaked even the slightest when Im on it. This thing is plenty sturdy for my weight. Im really happy with this bed frame.
