After waiting 1 month I got my package but delivery didnt follow the drop off instructions and left my package outside and got stolen . I called customer service and they send me the new one but one of the main parts had crack on screw area . And unfortunately I did not likeeee the color kind of yellowish and didnt match with my other furniture.
Dont buy this product if u already have 2 twin mattress. Buy the recommended mattresses because it fits better. Mine didnt fit well the bed was on the air . Overal look good and I likeeee the mid century look.
I was originally looking for a couch sleeper that turns into a bed and found that category to be super expensive. I happened upon this item in the daybed category and found these to be a great option that is more affordable and my kid wont need to deal with opening and closing a sleeper bed every morning.
The actual bed itself is pretty sturdy for the price and looks amazing. It did take a bit to figure out what goes where so it took about 1.5 hours but if I were to order another one it probably would only take about 30 minutes. Im really happy with this choice since we needed a bed that could double as a couch during the day. Highly recommend for the price.
Ive been looking for a day bed for going on 6 months. Found one I likeeeed but it was around $840 and didnt ship for months, but was the mid-century style I likeeeed. Not sure how I even stumbled upon this one, but SUPER glad I did. The look is similar, but what really sold me was the $340 difference and the great reviews. The package arrived this morning and with a little help I was able to get it upstairs (Its heavy and solid wood!). Close to an hour later the bed was fully assembled. The instructions were easy to follow and came with a few additional hardware pieces. I used a drill instead of the allen wrench supplied and breezed right through the assembly. The trundle was an added bonus for me as I wasnt looking for this, but it will certainly help with additional guests. Another review mentioned that a 7 inch mattress or less should be used for the trundle, so thats what Im going to purchase.
Overall couldnt be happier. For the price and the quality its a steal. Buy it now if you have been hesitating. You likeeeely wont find a better deal for the $money$!
This product came with great instructions, just make sure you read them all before you start putting pieces together (especially the slat pieces that the mattress goes on) The hardware all came individually packaged and very well organized...it even has extra pieces of all hardware (BONUS). I would definitely use an allen wrench attachment for a drill, Almost the whole assembly is allen wrench and there are over 100 screws. This took my son and I about 2 hours to put together. The bed is beautiful and sturdy. My daughter loveeeeS it. Highly recommend if you are looking for a daybed/trundle bed at a low cost and sturdy.
This bed is adorable and quite sturdy for the price. Assembly wasnt too bad, I did it alone in about an hour and 40 minutes. Included a progress picture so you can see the spacing of the slats. Definitely no box spring needed with this bed. It is stylish, and fits great with the decor of my room. If you have any floors other than carpet, I would suggest getting furniture pads, as it is light weight and does slide a bit. Overall an excellent buy though, highly recommend.
It was a little difficult to assemble but absolutely loveeee it!!!!. It is much sturdier than I expected too! The maximum mattress height for the trundle is 6. I bought an 8 thinking it would work and it does work. However its very difficult to pull out and push back in. But that is my fault. Overall a great purchase.
The quality is great and its a beautiful bed, but the color is way off from the pictures. I was hoping for the medium toned brown in the pictures but its definitely lighter and more orange toned wood.
While this review is long overdue, I figure better late than never. And I guess some people would appreciate a long-term retrospective on this bed frame. Ive been sleeping on the bed frame for over three years now. And yes, that means its held up for over three years. It even survived one move.
But that being said, its not sturdy at all for bed activities, if you know what I mean. It sways and squeaks incessantly. Ive taken it apart a few times, tighten the bolts, even lubricated then with grease. Still noisy.
Furthermore the stapling underneath the upholstery pops out, which is dangerous because you can easily cut yourself on it when getting in and out of bed. I find myself having to take a hammer and pounding them back into place.
But all that aside, itll be fine if you dont nothing else in your bed besides sleep. Its also cheap, so its ideal for a guest bedroom or realtors for staging homes.
We comfortable fit our family of 4 in bed each night to read bedtime stories together. The bed is completely sturdy for our weight (about 440 lbs total). The bed is low profile and looks fabulous. My daughter has the same bed we got her 3 years ago and hers still looks brand new!
