I bought this bed because I couldnt justify buying the one I wanted from west elm which wouldve costed about $2300, and this one was only $215.
It has the same tufting and the color is beautiful exactly what I wanted. Very simple to put together and everything lined up perfectly took about 1.5 hours with 2 people.
The screws were all labeled but the furniture pieces were not. The only reason why I gave this 3 stars instead of 5 was because the headboard came with a stain, and I realized after it was put together. The box the bed came in is way to heavy and big for me to return to my local UPS. Only other complaint is the corners can be seen, it doesnt bother me much especially if the bed is made it wont be seen but I know It could bother others. All In all I would buy this bed again and hoped it didnt have a stain.

The finished product was elegent. The headboard was very attractive and the material was rich to the eye. It was very sturdy . I wish now I had ordered two.
We needed a bedframe for my son's room and this is perfect for him. It's sleek and Modern. The material is easy to clean. I like that we don't need a box spring!
Design looks simple and modern bed is dark black. No need for box spring my son's mattress is 10 inches which we didn't need the use of a box spring as it would be too tall. Nothing came damaged it took about 30 minutes to build.
I was a little disappointed because it feels flimsy but it's holding up my bed and nothing has broken. I am a little worried to move it.
If your looking for something super sturdy keep looking.
I got this platform bed for our son's bedroom and after using it over two weeks , our son's bedroom still smells like wood and chemicals and this is because this bed uses very cheap quality wood in its construction throughout and it smells a lot as well .
- Another thing about this bed is that while its tufted/covered in a nice quality fabric on the headboard , the back of the headboard is hollow in some parts , and has a very flimsy and think wood backing
- The slats are fixed/screwed in which is good as they will not move , but they are also made of the same cheap quality wood seen across the rest of the bed
- I have my doubts about the longevity of this bed as kids being kids like to jump on spring mattresses and the cheap wood gives me no confidence
- It was easy to assemble with clear instructions
FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall i would give this bed only three start because of its cheap wood and strong chemical smells that dissipates very slowly . Given all of this , i think its overpriced for the quality of the product you receive.
Bring your drill m, your gonna need it because these slates dont drill themselves. The bed smells like a BBQ pit but overall its ok for the price. Ive slept on it 1 night and its seems sturdy enough, doesnt make any notice but I got it in carpet so your mileage may vary. Seriously its like sleeping in the wood box behind a pit bbq and seems to emit from the headboard. I got the stone and its light gray so they nailed the color. As skynyrd said, ohhh that smell.
It's an O-K bedframe. Set up was fairly easy, but two screws that connect the headboard and footboard were missing from one of the plates. Very strange to ship with missing screws in an important area. Bed is rickety and slightly swivels because of this. Hopefully, it stays secure until I can buy a new bed frame. Would not recommend solely based on this error. However, I could just have bad luck as I have seen many great reviews of this.
