I read all of the comments from people who have purchased this loft bed. Let me say, I am so thankful that I did purchase this bed despite the bad reviews. This bed is sturdy! I am a woman and found the instructions for assembly quite simple, actually. It was a breeze to assemble. I was not missing any pieces. The bed came in 3 boxes and was received without any scratches or defects. It was fun to put together. The quality is superb! I am thinking of ordering another one to put in my other childs bedroom because she lovees her brothers bed so much and now I have to coerce her to sleep in her own bed. What I received for the price is more than worth it. I do not understand the bad ratings. If you are looking for a nice sturdy bed for your child, this is IT. Even my husband, who was skeptical, believes this to be of great value for what we paid. Definitely a value for your $money$. I would give this bed 50 stars if I could. I am not in any affiliated with this company nor given any incentive to write this review. I felt the need to write this review because of all of the bad reviews. I lovee this bed! The one thing I had an issue with was some of the instruction diagram clarity, but once it was all said and done we are so happy with it. when the desk is pulled out, she even uses the space under the bed as a fort/play area. this bed is definitely heavy and when fully assembled it is sturdy. I may dread if i ever move though, as I will have to probably disassemble it to get it out of the house with everything. I recommend this bed for anyone looking for a space saver, or even just for an elevated bed for their kids. its not too high and there are guard rails all the way around. safety and security on this are definite bonus points!

I received this item pretty fast. Takes A LOT of patience. It took me alone about 4 hours to assemble. Theres a key that is used for most of the bolts. My thumb hurt so bad after I was done. I needed a loft with a desk that was not too big for a small apartment bedroom. It was perfect! My daughter lovees her new bed. Desk is nice and sturdy for virtual learning.
It was easy to put together. The boxes did not arrive together. Which was annoying and why I wont give it 5 stars. My son lovees it. It did have a weird or strong smell.
Easy to assemble for me. Recommend drilling all your screw holes go deeper than they have it. Also clean out the dowel holes. For the steps at the end that dont have pre drilled holes make sure you make you own holes. One of my nuts wasnt threaded so I tapped it with my tap set its a 1/4-20 thread. Also I got a 10 mattress that left me with 3 to spare definitely not tall enough Id recommend a 6 mattress for this bed. I had nothing split when I assembled it only took me 4 hours to do it alone. I bought espresso doesnt match any of my other furniture
We ordered 2 of these for my youngest son and nephew who are ring a room right now. Theyre fairly easy to put together, with very clear instructions and clearly labeled parts/pieces. We were able to assemble both beds in around 3.5 hours.
Both beds have a fairly decent wobble to them, which bother both kids, but theyre getting used to it. Im not sure how long these will stand up to the test of two pre-teens/teenagers, but for now theyll do the job.
