We bought this bed for our daughter when she moved in to her own place. She picked it out for the style. My husband put it together for her and said it was pretty easy but has lots of little parts.
Its not worth more then 30 dollors its super long and the ties are super long where the bows come out nothing like the pic but its cute but the way it looks in pic looks worth this price definitely look at the pics before buying lol n it takes lot work using your hands have bottle water and some music
kinda flimsy as everyone mentioned but for the price you cant be too surprised . is not as good!!!! looking as a canopy bed frame but it still looks cute , will need two people to assemble it although its really simple
I ordered the king California version and it turned out to be perfect because I wanted the extra space between the poles and my queen bed. But even better is that if I want to I just need to remove the short rods along the length and width to perfectly fit to the corners.
The bottoms of the vertical rods have flat metal plates that one slides under the legs on the bed to keep it sturdy. However once you have it on all four legs its pretty sturdy and I personally let it stand on its own.
The frame was very easy to assemble with very clear steps (only 3 steps).
I bought this frame so I could hang black out curtain from the rods, and I use the 84 eclipse absolute zero blackout out curtains from because it can go all the way to the floor and it can also be used to span the distance to create a roof. The 63 eclipse blackout curtains are also good!!!! if you dont want it touch the floors but still reach past the bed.
All in all, Im very satisfied with this frame.

Very hard to assemble
Too many pieces and not all of them were labeled. Its very hard to get the bolts in place and overall its pretty low to the ground

The materials themselves are sturdy and not likely to break, but its not very secure and wobbles a lot.
