When I received this frame the parts were all there but the center connect tube was bent in the middle. I contacted Ambee and they sent a replacement very quickly. Im no spring chicken any longer but this frame was a breeze for me to assemble by myself. It is solid and looks good too! There is ample room for storage underneath as well. Very well worth the price!
The bed arrived well wrapped and protected and in many pieces, however, between the two of us and the instructions which were a bit vague, we figured it out. Guest room bed, which slept well for our guests during the Xmas holidays. Looks good, sturdy for a 180 pound man.
THIS BED IS SOLID! I was looking for a queen size frame for a second room I came across this one. The pictures dont do it justice! When it arrived, I want expecting it to be as solid/ heavy as it is. Im so impressed with the materials sturdiness of this bed, Im ready to order another one. There are alot of pieces to it, so it to us about 45 minutes to put it together. It was machined very well, so all of the pieces lined up like they were supposed to. No special tools, only an Allen wrench thats included. It supports my 12 inch memory foam mattress perfectly! If youre looking for a platform bed, this is the one.
I did this all on my own. The hardest part for me was moving the mattress from one frame to the other. Everything about the bed was smooth sailing. No creaking, either!
I have only slept on it for one night. So far, I am very happy. Between my large dog and myself we have about 350 lbs in the bed and it never squeaked or shifted.
It was extremely easy to assemble. I always face challenges, but never had issue one. Easily put together without help

It squeaks.
It squeaks. Since the middle rod doesnt touch the 12 or so rods that cross it, it squeaks at any little bounce on the mattress. What a bummer.
