Purchased it for our entryway. The size is perfect. We also needed a place for masks, wipes, etc so the kids can grab and go. The top storage fit the bill. The ONLY reason I took off a star is b/c the finish scratches easily and its not quite as sturdy as Id like.
To fix those problems we:
1. Added white contact paper to the shelves to minimize scratches
2. added corner braces to help stabilize the seat.
3. Also added pads to stop the top from slamming; but thats a my kids allows the top to slam problem not necessarily a manufacturer problem.
Despite these modifications I wld still recommend.
I wanted a shoe rack that was strong enough to sit on and this one is and it is really nice looking. It was worth the extra money. I am happy that I bought this for my new home.

Easy assembly; steady; great look
Very easy to put together. The color is very nice. Quality wood. Very steady. Great look for my entry way. I ended up buying one more.

Shoe rack
Does what I bought it for. Read the dimensions. Just not as tall as expected. Sure is not solid wood more like press board.
Damaged on Arrival
Arrived damaged, screws and parts loosely flying in box, instructions on assembly in poor quality, drawer broken. Buy at your own risk.
Does not fit large shoes or boots well
Not for large shoes or boots but has helped me clean up that space.
Best to have help assembling because of the size
Its a beautiful bench and matches my bedroom furniture perfectly. Im organized and I have a place to sit to put on shoes.
