Sturdy. Had all the pieces. Nothing was broken. Really happy with how it turned out. Only complaint was that some of the pieces didnt have holes where there should have been some. We had to measure and drill them ourselves. So that was kind of a pain. But it still looks great and my little man loves it.
The instructions were not clear. It has too many pieces to put together with an Alan Rench. Once put together it is not the sturdiest bed and I do not believe it will stand the test of time as well as wear and tear. I do not recommend purchasing this item. Not if you want something easy to assemble and to last.
This bed has been an absolute blessing during the pandemic. Any opportunity to give our little ones some exercise and a fun outlet is a must! The bed is very easy to assemble and well worth the buy.
I do have two minor complaints:
1 / The bunk side rail doesnt seem exceptionally sturdy. I find myself double/checking the screws and tightening them every so often. This may be a user error because my 4yo likes to shake the rail but it would be helpful if it were a more solid structure.
2/ The top of the slide sits lower than the edge of the bed. This again, is likely an us problem but the first day we installed it, my 4yo ran up the slide, slipped, and smacked his face on the edge of the bed, leaving him with a pretty significant black eye. We simply removed the slide, padded the lip of the bed, and replaced the slide and we havent had any issues since.
Everything else has been awesome and the kids really needed this extra bit of fun in their room.
This bed is aming, the first attempt we purchased a name brand off of , Max Lily, I believe. It was trash compared to this sturdy, hard wood bed. It is perfect for your kids, much more comfortable and spacious than predicted. The bed is also low to the ground, takes up less space.
We bought this bed for our childs birthday and were pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to assemble and how great the quality was for an online purchase. Our child loves it and were very happy with it overall. I will note that you need two people for part of the bed assembly but the bookshelves and dresser are easy for one person. highly recommend. The only downside is the weight limit for the bed is lower than expected. well just reinforce it when that time comes but well have years before we get to that point!
This bed, it looks great and feels solid. My child loves it. The two reason it didnt get a 5 star from me is the following.
1. Skimped out on bed slats. They could have just put 4 more pine bed slates per roll, but the amount the give you is just. barely enough. Go out to the store spend 10 bucks and buy some wood to make a few more.
2. One of the instructions is wrong. When putting in the top bed rail (Long pieces) remember they switched around the Labels.
Otherwise while the bed is alot of pieces everything just fits together well. Great bed decent price.
The only probem I had with this bed is that there were 2 large boxes which arrived a week apart. However there is no way I woud give this bed less than 5 stars. In fact I woud give it 10 starts if I could. I purchased this bunk bed for my 5 years old twins. One of them had sleep alone issues for years. First day my kids slept on this bed permanently solved this problem. So we calll it a magic bed now. The quality is great. Kids love it. Worth every dollar.
Sooo like most people I read a lot of reviews before buying. The window frame is NOT secured, I added 4 long screws drilling it from the outside of frame. Also I went to Lowes and bought a thick wood to go under the mattress on top of the slacks. I drilled it to the side. The entire bed shacks, however I made a 230lbs male get in the bed and lay down before I but the kids in it.
So I love love love this bed and so do my kids very well made I recommend using a power drill to put it together it says to use a Allen key but you would be there forever doing it the product was shipped and not damaged only thing ai would have to say for the company is please do better at marking the letters on the wood so it would be faster to put together . Some Pieces and not have any letter or number on them so we had to play the guessing game but other than that great bed for the price !
