The bed was not hard to put together. Its very solid. Its looks bigger than I thought. BEWARE, IT DOES NOT FIT A LONG COLLEGE MATRESS. I had to buy a new mattress. It squeaks a little bit but does not really rock which is a problem with taller bunk beds I own. Also, this had a strong factory/wood/paint kind of smell. It made the entire apartment smell like it and it almost felt un reachable in the childs room. Had to keep a couple of box fans aimed at the bed on full speed for a full 2 weeks before we finally noticed that the smell was just faint. Now a month out, it no longer smells.
Was disappointed initially when only half of the shipment arrived and there was no direct customer service number available to reach out to. The other half arrived couple of days later .
Anyways 3 months later Im more than happy with the purchase . Kids love it and grown ups can sleep comfortably on the lower bed .

My kids are two and 4 and this is perfect for them. We put a mattress on the bottom for my who year old. They go up the ladder and down the slide constantly and its sturdy. No issues!
Im 160 and the ladder doesnt work when I stand on it. It kicks away from the bed. Also I placed my newborn on the bed, then went to join him and as I reached the top of the ladder. I heeeard a creek in the wood and we both went thru. Lmao. Ive since then had to reenforce the bed. My 4 year old loves it now

Bunk bed
Bed is nice but definitely takes someone with knowledge to put it together. Took about 4hrs. to put it together.
