    Vendor corrected the error

The bed I ordered was not the same as the one in the photograph. Comparing what was received to what was pictured, the quality was less on the one I received. I contacted them and was informed the pictured bed was no longer available and had not been updated. A refund of $100 was sent to me as compensation. The bed was a gift for my granddaughter so the sturdiness is not as big a factor. Since having the bed for a year, two of the drawer fronts have separated and no longer able to use. The bed has begun to shift when sitting down on it or making movements while on the bed. For the price, it is acceptable but not something I would purchase again.

    Twin Captain's Bed w/Trundle

I loved the bed, after it was assembled - it was just what I wanted.

    Lightweight frame

I'll start off by saying that we came here to purchase this frame after months of waiting for another frame to become available (shipping issues). I'll say that the frame is much more lightweight than I was expecting, but the pieces seem sturdy. Maybe not solid wood sturdy...but honestly who makes furniture like that anymore (which sucks). I build this on my own and did not need a second person to help for any of the steps.. These instructions were pretty easy to follow and well marked. My only note would be to those building this frame in a small room (like I did). When it comes to building to trundle, note that you're building it from back to front so position yourself so that you don't have to then flip it once it's build like I did. My other note would be for those with hardwood floors. The trundle bed doesn't have a stopper so it moves around and it doesn't stay flush with the face of of frame.. I'm thinking of putting some sort of stopper between the end if the trundle and the wall so that it's always flush with the frame and it looks like the pictures. Other than that, we'll see how it holds up with my crazy child.

    Good Enough!

This product was definitely worth the money. It feels sturdy and was not super difficult to assemble. There are visible screws on the front. Thats the only thing I would change. Either provide little screw covers or make it in a way that they are hidden. Overall pleased.

Cheaply made, trundle not worth it.

We've had this bed for over two years (3 moves, two out-of-state) and while it still does the job of providing my child with a place to sleep, that's about all it does. The bed frame has held up okay over the moves and still seems sturdy enough for an adult to sleep on it. The trundle, however, not so much. We threw it out a couple months after setting it up in the second house, about a year after purchase. The trundle does not come apart very well so it's not easily moved. It was bulky and cracked in the moves. It's also difficult to open and close on carpet, not easily accessible. The wooden slats that the mattress lays on are not sanded or finished so we get lots of splinters and fabric snags from it. We are actually buying an Ikea bed to replace it. They are much more worth the money. I though I was getting a good deal for a decent bed, but I would definitely not purchase this bed again. It's very cheap and not worth it.

    Great great size and fitting

Bought this bed for my two girls and its beautiful finished product except for I had two broken pieces and did not realize until everything was almost put together and had to cover the front with white molding clay to keep it looking the same after everything was complete. The only other thing I was not too happy with the sturdiness of the slats feel like may not hold up really well
