My son loved this bed frame and its a good style for a teenager. My full size mattress <no box spring needed> fits with a little room all around for my son to make his bed. I put the bed together myself with a little help with holding the headboard and footboard when attaching together. When the directions say to not fasten all the screws until its all together it will save you a lot of time to follow that step. I had to loosen screws to make sure all could fit in the holes and then fasten after the build was complete. You just need to make sure you fasten all the knots and screws before you put the mattress on.
Love this bed, I bought it for my son after his bed broke into piece. So I wanted a iron bed and this one is aming. Its super sturdy and easy to assemble. It literally took me 15 minutes to put it together. Also its high so you can store things under the bed. Hope this helps !
Extremely sturdy and almost totally silent. So much better than wood frames and has tons of storage space at this height. I could easily fit 8 storage bins plus various other items under it. No box spring needed either, which is nice. Relatively easy to assemble.
Purchased this in full size. Gave me so much extra storage space. I also bought the wrap around bed skirt from (they offer a nice selection) to hide all my under bed storage. I am a 61 year old female and when it was delivered I did bring it in piece by piece. It was heavy. I had no problem in putting it together. One of the end pieces was dented but was able to use a hammer to smooth in out. Very happy with this purchase. No box spring needed Great height.
This bedframe is very modern and stylish. The price was very reasonable. However, it was not easy to assemble. The s the mattress sits on are VERY difficult to secure in their slots on the bedframe itself. Be ready for frustration during assembly if you get this.
One more thing: I have voted this down because of the sturdiness. I believe in the product description it says that this bedframe will not squeak and is generally quiet when moving around. This is not the case. This is due to the shorter stabilizing legs that do not actually reach the floor on their own. Once you lay on the bed they will touch but this creates a noise and makes the bed feel less sturdy. To accommodate this I put small furniture pads underneath to avoid this. Minor gripe.
Ive read a lot of reviews about this frame going creaky or squeaky after a short amount of time / I have not had that problem in the slightest. Everything looked great out of the box, was very easy to put together, and it gives me an excellent amount of storage space in a very small bedroom. Love how my bed looks off the ground, works great with my headboard, and I have never noticed any loosening or creakiness out of this, despite being a heavier person. It supports my mattress wonderfully without any type of boxspring / I actually think this helps makes the mattress seem softer as it allows it to move a bit more under me than an unforgiving boxspring did. I would recommend this to anyone on the fence!
