    Solid frame for the s

Pretty good frame for the money. Fairly easy to assemble and supports new memory foam mattress well. However, we would like to get a headboard and footboard for this but so far research has not discovered much in the way of choices. Also, the area under the frame is huge and most likely would be great for storage but the look if left open is a little odd. Maybe there a very large bed skirt available that will hid this look?

This is a super sturdy bed frame that can hold ANYONE! I would give it 5 stars, but Im just waiting for someone to stub their toe on the foot.

Sturdy, but not very headboard compatible

This was easy enough to assemble and took my husband and I about 30 minutes to unbox and put together. We had no issues with scratches on any of the pieces. We have slept on it for 3 nights and it seems very sturdy. My biggest complaint is that the mounting holes for a headboard make no sense. You have to buy the special brackets to use a headboard. This is very frustrating to me and why I didnt give it a higher rating.

Decent simple frame. Was missing parts, but fixed the issue!

Update: Couple hours after writing my first review, I discovered the actual clearance under this bed is 10.5 due to the center support. It now is no better than my old bed. I knocked it down to 3 stars because it would have been really nice to have known this from the beginning! Have contacted , of course due to a family emergency I have been unable to set the frame up and found all of this out after my Prime return time was used up. Im really hopeful to find a solution to this problem, would have ordered the 18 frame from the start if I knew the real clearance was so shallow. I will be really upset if Im out nearly 100 over this! Will update my review again after I hear back from I ordered the 14 frame, and Im still having lots of mixed feelings about this product. Sadly I was unable to put it together within the time frame that I could return it with , or I would switch it for the 18 frame. Most definitely count and look over your parts before ta apart your old bed! I didnt even think about this and regretted it! I was missing 3 mattress supports and one leg was bent up a little. I was able to straighten the leg, but I have a very handyman dad to assist me with that kind of problem, but couldnt do much of anything about the missing supports. I will say was smooth to work with, one email about the issues and they sent another frame and return label for one of the frames (I just pulled the supports I needed from the second box so I can return the still boxed up frame, so I dont even know if that frame had all of its parts to start with, and I hope acknowledges the one being returned will have missing parts!) / As for the final product once getting all of the parts, its a pretty decent little frame I like the simplicity of it, I do like the clearance under it, though I would have sworn I saw someplace claim a 12 clearance and Im getting 11.5 / Im glad I waited to buy totes to put under it after its arrival. (In hindsight I realized I would have preferred one that was taller yet, hence why I would have switched to the 18 if I was able) The rounded corners are nice, keeps me from jabbing myself with a sharp corner. Supports set a little lower within the frame, so the mattress doesnt even try to move around, and for the few days I have had it together, I havent heard any squeaks out of it. I figured if the bolts work a little loose and start to squeak (From what other reviews said) Ill just get some loctight for the bolts. The support s seem to fit snug and dont squeak, I dont foresee them getting to a point where they would. Overall, minus the inconvenience of missing parts, the final product is a decent, simple frame. Just be aware that it may take some effort to get a complete/undamaged frame!

Box spring may not be needed but plywood is if using a foam mattress.

Mine arrived with a couple of medium size 1 1/4 deep gouges (one on the exterior end rail and one on the interior side rail) that appear to have occurred during the manufacturing process. Gouges were painted over. Nice clean, pretty look. Good value for 69.90 shipped. There was a small ding on the inside bottom rail but no big deal since its unnoticeable when fully assembled. Took 25 minutes to assemble. A rubber mallet is recommended to knock some pieces to fit into each other but dont knock too hard on the s. Im not sure how sturdy the welds are. One of the side rails did not fit easily into the corner piece so some paint was shaved off when pushing it in to fit. Im laying a 9 foam mattress onto the s but am also putting plywood onto of those s. Theres 6/7 of space between the s. Bunky boards are usually 2 thick so will rise to high on the 1/2 space between top of frame and s so mattress wont stay in place. I wish the manufacturer would use the wide side of the s to be positioned horizontally vs. vertically in the frame. There may be a engineering reason that Im not aware of. The 18 tall frame is ideal for people 53 and up if they want to roll in/out of bed easily.

She really liked hers and so I bought one for my .

I purchased this frame after careful consideration and after my roommate had the same one for a few months. She really liked hers and so I bought one for my bed. I wanted a higher bed without having to buy a box spring (unnecessary for my memory foam/gel mattress) and this does the perfect job. The added storage space is absolutely fantastic. I didnt think I would care either way for it but now that I have it, I cant imagine another bed without it. The construction is solid and is pretty quiet for the most part. Assembly took me less than 15 min with my boyfriend helping. A headboard is able to be attached but I have yet to find the perfect one so I cant comment on that. When I do, Ill come back and update my review. The only reason I gave it 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because after 6 months of use, every month I have to crawl under my bed and tighten some of the screws that have come loose. Loose in the sense that I noticed the bed would move a little more than it should while climbing on and off, among other things. 2/3 turns of the allen wrench and its perfect again.

    Squeaky. Question mark?

I really dont know how to say this. I dont know what censorship has over reviews But my bed squeaks and its annoying. I normally sleep alone. And at about 200 lbs, it squeaks like a comedy movie. And a lot of folks claim it didnt squeak. Now. if I bring a girl home and giver her the most disappointing 30 seconds of her life, my bed doesnt squeak. Its odd. Like the extra weight helps it quiet down. Oh. and I hide my bike rack trailer hitch under no problem (Yakima hold up 2 / 1.25)
