Bought this for my sons room. The storage is great and the directions were pretty clear but it was still difficult to assemble for someone who isnt handy.
I will never buy another slatted base again. Horrible design. Everytime you move it creaks and makes noise. Woke me up every night for 10 years. Even with the plywood underneath it still makes noise. Light sleepers beware!!!

After a disastrous experience with Wayfair, where it took four weeks to deliver the wrong product, we visited all local and online stores for a bed we would like. We finally took a chance with where we found the product. The packages arrived in less than a week. Putting it together however is not that easy. I joked to my wife that one needs an advanced degree from to put the bed together. Being an engineer myself having assembled many items in the past, I had to occasionally take my build apart as not all parts are labeled clearly. Still, we recommend this product and would buy it again. We are now loo forward to a fitting headboard, which is supposed to come onto the market soon.

While the bed itself in terms of size, build, and storage are great, the assembly process was complicated by the fact that most of the bed pieces were not labeled. This made it difficult along the way to assemble the bed because there was a good amount of guesswork. In addition, some of the screws and pieces necessary to construct the bed did not work as one would expect they should. The instruction pamphlet was easy to read for the most part, but not perfect. Theres lots of room for improvement in terms of assembly simplicity, clarity, and procedure. Overall the product is very good, but the assembly process was a pain in the tookis.
More than 3/4 of the boards did not have numbers, the lock/seal that was sprayed on the boards is ruff like sandpaper. I am still trying to assemble the bed by guessing what board goes were with the pictures and the holes are not matching
Real wood, just a little soft so it scars easy. Overall, it is very steady and it suits us. What I like about it is that it sits flat on the floor so I dont have to get on my hands and knees to clean underneath the bed. I have bad allergies and bad knees and not having to clean under the bed and breathing the dust is why I bought this bed. It is easy to install if you read and follow the instructions.

Slatted base is the worst design

Great loo bed
Great but need lots of time to assemble, consider which side for drawers, read first then plan the assemble and final detail adjustment.
