    Difficult assembly

Im sure this will be beautiful as the wood is nice, but my dad is a handy guy and hes having THE hardest time assembling it. Unlabeled pieces, unclear instructions/illustrations, etc. He keeps as where I got it. Im hoping we wont have to call the company for replacement pieces or clarification.

    Junk

This is amingly chintzy for the money. The drawer bottoms are cheap cardboard, as is the backsides. I went out and purchased real wood for both! The pine is not solid but pieced together and so soft that one extra turn of a screw means stripping it out. Its so soft that your fingernail can sink down into it, and its unavoidable to mar it while assembling it. Ive put together a lot of furniture over the past 30 years and this takes the cake for chintzy materials. Where did they find such flimsy drawer rollers and cabinet hinges? To make matters worse, this is a beast to assemble. I just thought the reviewers complaining about how long it took to assemble were newbies to the world of tools and furniture assembly. Not. Be prepared to spend at least two 8 hour days putting the scores of cheap pieces together. I would have returned this but for the fact I was already into it a full days labor before I sorely regretted buying this cheap piece of junk. But, yes, once its assembled and tucked under the bed it does offer tremendous storage as promised, which Im happy about, and you cant tell what a cheap piece of crap it is.

Full day assembly, but worth the investment

Pros: Sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, ample storage. holds a lot of weight Cons: Not all pieces labelled, estimated time to completion is grossly underestimated. For two people who were being meticulous about re/labeling and planning out pieces to assemble, and who are experienced with a power drill, it took roughly 8/10 hours for the size. This behemoth has 315 screws. But we had planned to take an entire day for assembly, so we werent unprepared. The individual steps arent that difficult to follow, even with pieces being unlabeled, its just that theres 54 steps to get this thing set up (hence the 3/5 easy to assemble rating), which isnt a criticism. It makes sense with all the nooks and shelves and drawers. Just be aware of what youre getting into and plan accordingly. This bed feels VERY sturdy / with a mattress of about 150 pounds, two people totaling about 600 pounds, and several cats/dog, it isnt wobbly at all and feels very solid. It appears to all be solid pine. All in all, Im very satisfied with this bed frame, and glad I made the purchase.

    Great Quality and VERY sturdy!!!!!!!

I am very pleased with this bed it took my husband about five hours by himself to assemble however if I could have helped him we couldve knocked it out in 3 hrs !! We are very impressed with the quality of the wood that holds the bed together! The bed arrived on time and no pieces were broken Which I am very surprised about since we have ordered beds in the past and had nightmares trying to either assemble them or get companies to send us new parts for broken pieces, Anyways the bed over all was a definite score for us we really needed a sturdy bed and are super super super happy!

    High Quality Bed

The bed is just what we needed/wanted. It is sturdy and has many storage options. It fits well in smaller room which was perfect. It takes quite a while to put together (2 days) but worth the work. It is difficult to move because its solid wood and heavy. We love it!

Great bed, just one small issue

Solid bed, lovely color, very happy with purchase. Only negative is some of the parts werent numbered so really had to pay attention. Parts did have distinctive mars, ie holes for screws and dowels but just would have made little easier and quicker if marked all pieces. I assembled by my self and went smoothly.

    Looks great, feels sturdy.

Maybe one real drawback is the assembly / it took me probably 8/10 hours of total work to assemble it. Instructions are pretty clear and all, its just A LOT OF PARTS. Also, some of the screws were too short and didnt hold in place, I had to buy other ones from a hardware store. Regardless of that, the end product looks stylish, feels very sturdy, and the storage space is aming. If I were to buy it again, Id buy s assembly service too.

    Beautiful!

We love how this bed looks! Between our closet and the storage in this bed we were able to eliminate a dresser in our small bedroom. It took 5 hours for my handy husband and I to put it together so be ready to WORK. A couple snafus along the way. In the end it was worth it! With or without a box spring it is great. We chose to remove ours. We got the white, its so pretty!
