The bed is very cute. I don't think I realized just how much space there is from the top of the frame to the bottom of the headboard so you will definitely need a box spring no matter how big your mattress is. The 4 slats provided are nowhere near sturdy enough to support a person so I will have to go and get some boards to lay in between the slats. Other than that, it's still an amazing deal for the price.
Great product besides one thing , the slats that the mattress lays on are ridiculously far apart it only comes with 4 - 1x2 there so far apart feom each other you can feel the mattress sinking between the slats so i threw them away and cut a piece of plywood to fit and its perfect now , I highly recommend putting your own slats in because what comes with it is a complete joke , besides that the bed is great ! Very easy to assemble and looks great

Love this bed. I had a queen size that i ordered in september of 2019 and now that my bf wants to upgrade to a king, we got the same bed cause it is so cute! Understated yet bold and really nice quality and a great price.
I liked the look of it because my last bed was gigantic. As my family saw my new bed and everyone said the same thing « you arent going to keep this very long « . They are correct I am not going to keep it in my room but I will put it in the guest room. I like the headboard is short and I can hang pictures over it. It was not hard to assemble, it is not that sturdy but it is a great value for the money
While the bed is attractive, the middle brace broke after two months of use. Other reviewers have said the same thing. For the majority of the use of the bed only one person slept in it weighing under 180 pounds. The first two times that the brace broke, we fixed it. Each time it failed. I am writing this review from a sagging, broken bed that collapsed in the middle of the night as I slept. .Do not buy this bed.

You cant see headboard once you put mattress and pillows on frame
