Looks great but not as sturdy.

It looks really good but it isnt as sturdy. We ended up putting a plywood on both bunk beds to get extra support. It didnt seem like it would hold up without it. So far so good. Assembling was kind of a pain. Beautiful and easy to assemble

    Great bunk beds!

I love these little bunk beds! My son is 5 and my daughter will be 2 in a few weeks and this bed is PERFECT for them! As far as assembly, my husband did most of it. He expected it to be pretty challenging but it wasnt really too bad. I think it took him 3 or 4 hours total. I helped get the top bunk on top of the lower bunk but mostly he did everything solo. For the record I was 37 weeks pregnant at the time and lifting it was no problem. We did opt to have a few boards cut to size at the local box store (see picture). It took two cuts— first two are free so that worked out. They did run us about $25 a piece so that brought the total price up a bit. We feel this not only looks better from the bottom bunk but also makes the whole bed more sturdy and keeps the mattress from getting damaged on the slats. We also opted for 6 inch mattresses from here on . I really like that the bottom bunk is directly on the floor, great for my very young daughter but also keeps stuff from accumulating under the bed. I also like that the top bunk is not too high off the ground. Definitely peace of mind having two little ones in there alone that worst case scenario no one would fall more than 4-5 feet. My daughter cant climb all the way up the ladder yet but my 5 year old has no problem getting up and down. As far as the bottom bunk, yes its tight down there. Pretty low head clearance— but its worth noting in a normal bunk bed thats the way it is on the top bunk. I think the ideal age for the bottom would be between 2-5 years old. We had a loft bed before and I couldnt tuck my son in or kiss him goodnight plus making the bed was a bit*h. These are easy enough to make and I love that hes kiss level. I also like that these can be used apart when the kids are older should we decide to keep them and use them that way. Its always nice to have options :) As most other reviewers noted the wood will come flawed (cracks, scrapes, etc). Husband wasnt expecting it and was a little miffed but ultimately its not a big deal and not very noticeable.

Eh is all I can think of

This did not come with the clearest instructions at all. The pieces have a sticker on them with each corresponding letter according to the manual, however some of the letters were faded and we had to play a guessing game to make sure we did it correct. A week after I purchased this it went down in price making things even worst. Too lazy to take everything apart and try to return, not to mention they charge you a fee to return. I wouldnt highly recommend this at all. Its very basic starter bed and get the bunkie board or youll ruin your mattresss.

Much better than I was expecting!

So to start, I was a little skeptical to make this purchase because of how cheap it was and well, the golden rule is you get what you pay for which Im fine with but my kids sleep on this and I didnt want something thats gonna collapse in the middle of the night. Anyway, I said screw it. I read a lot of the reviews and a lot of them were good but also a lot had me worried with reviews like the instructions sucked not sturdy didnt come with all the parts not easy to assemble etc etc I have no idea what happens with these peoples order but the bed is amazing. It was VERY easy to assemble. I did it alone in about an hour, hour and a half with no problems whatsoever. The only issue I had was one hole wasnt quite drilled out all the way so I had to finish it off but it was a fix that didnt concern me. As far as people saying theres a couple knicks and dings duh. You ordered a cheap bed BY MAIL. Mine had virtually no surface damage other than a couple little scratches that you couldnt see unless you were really trying to look for flaws. Its sturdy as hell if you put it together properly. Like doesnt budge at all. Its not too high or too low and the gray is a beautiful neutral color. All in all, at this price point, I guarantee you cant find a better bed. 100% for a fact.

    What a Piece of C.R.A.P.

The wood on this thing is so thing and fragile, its only good for a kid under 50lbs. If you dare to tighten the screws, the wood splits. Great design, BAD Material. Live and Learn, dont buy ,totally waste your money!!!!

It was everything I expected and not to big a bulky.. My 2 youngest are very short in stature so it was perfect for their small bodies:)

Great for toddlers and small kids

I like that its not very high, exactly what I was looking for my young boys. Looks very sturdy and not expensive compared to other bunk beds Great quality and design for the value

    Dont buy it.

Came with no instructions. I took a chance having seen the few reviews that stated the same thing. I almost always have a good experience with s customer service. However . This time they had no manufacturer to reach out to. No help was given. No issue was resolved. They advised me to return it so I did. Huge waste of time and money as it took almost 2 weeks to get here and I have to continue to wait for my money to be credited back since it will take just as long to ship back. Moral of the story, if youre browsing, keep browsing.

    Great bed!

Took us awhile to put together and one or two instructions were not 100% clear, but once together its very sturdy and solid. Definitely recommend! Great product at great price
