Assembly was fairly simply and I really appreciate the little tools they provide that make it easier for you. My only complaint was the vague instructions provided in regard to the placement of the corner legs. I had to unscrew the legs after realizing I put them in the wrong place. Fair for the price.
Have owned this frame for about three months now. Absolutely over the moon with the quality and design. My wife and I both love mid/century modern furniture, and this fits the bill and was super cheap as well! So let me go through why I love this frame.
1. The packaging: When dropped off the box we were horrified to see that it looked like it had been stepped on or partially crushed. Devastated!! But when we opened the box, we were greeted with.another box. The outer box took the damage and the inner box was absolutely fine. Clever!
2. Instructions/Tools: Wow, could sure learn from these guys. Most instructions you look at as if looking at ancient hieroglyphics, wondering where your Rosetta stone was (or, laughing at the poor Chinese translations). Not this one, totally clear. PLUS, they give you a ratchet allen wrench that is just awesome! Ive used this little guy on a number of other flat pack projects, just great.
3. Assembly: Fairly quick, though I will note the point when you attach the long side beams to the headboard, its very handy to have an extra set of hands. I didnt, and it took me a few more minutes than it should have. My bad.
4. Finished product: Just lovely. Absolutely lovely to look at and sleep on.
5. Final bits: 3 months on, frame is still excellent. We have, uhm.ahhahem.done a fair amount of strenuous testing and can happily report no squeaks or shakes.
If you like the look, then just get one. We are still over the moon with our purchase Perfect for my needs.
I have to admit that I was a little nervous to purchase this bed frame for my king size bed because of the mixed reviews. Let. Me. Tell. You. Do not be nervous about your purchase, this bed frame is a WINNER. I had to return three bed frame from other sellers due to damage or missing items off of , Im not kidding. What a nightmare that has been. When I received this item you can tell the seller CARES about their customers. They included a very sweet thank you note and although the directions werent the clearest ever, it is a very sturdy high quality bed. The value for your money is aming and for around 256 this is a complete must buy for people looking for a high quality bed frame. You bolt everything in and the platform pieces have velcro to attach to the frame so they never slide.
I really looked forward to writing a review on this bed frame because after months of searching and buying over priced junk, I am so relieved for this winner.

I am so blown away by how great this bed is. A King sized, beautiful wooden bed for a more than reasonable price. It was packaged perfectly and securely including extra bolts and washers, very easy and straightforward to set up and looks so beautiful ! Thank you and Im so happy with this purchase ! Good price.
This was the easiest assembly Ive ever experienced! They provided a ratchet in addition to the Allen wrench and number stickers matched for each step. The bed is exactly what I wanted and was a great price for the value! A good buy!
I was shocked. For the price this bed is great. I bought this for my aunt to match her mid century bed room dresser and night stands. It is spot on and super sturdy. It is ok.
Great quality, great packaging, really the best i have seen in years, great picture instructions BUT not enough wording on how to assemble had a few small scrapes but nothing a touchup would not cover. The bed is beautiful and looks expensive. im happy as of now Go for it!
