Adorable bed for an elementary schooler

This is absolutely perfect for my very girly 5 year old who had outgrown her toddler bed, but was also a bit scared of the space underneath a bed (who isnt, right?!). With a light-up canopy on top, this is a truly magical and calming place for her to wind down and sleep soundly. Assembly was surprisingly straightforward (on par with assembling a toddler bed) and instructions were easy to follow. I was a bit surprised about the $99 shipping, but oh well - overall, still a good deal. Bed is sturdy and well made, and should last for years. My daughter is so happy with her big kid bed, and we are so happy we bought this one!

    Cutest bed for kids

We bought this bed for my almost 3 year old daughter to transition out of her crib. Im so glad we got this one because shell be able to use it for years to come. I love that its close to the ground without having the mattress directly on the floor. It only took my husband and I about an hour and a half to put it together. Directions were clear. No chemical smell which was something I was concerned about due to reading reviews on other house beds. If youre thinking about getting this bed do it. The price is great and very good quality so far.

    Beautiful bed

Absolutely adorable and beautiful bed. It was easy to assemble by myself, although the instructions could be clearer. There are also no holes for the slats to be screwed in. So you just screw them in yourself using a power drill. We love this transition to a floor bed. My 1 year old can easily get in and out of this bed as its only about 3 inches off the ground. Other people had told me they didnt like the side railings at the top because they hit them. But Ive never had this issue. Im 58 and my husband is 6 and neither of us have hit our heads on it.

    Directions suck, bed is perfect.

I got impatient waiting for a man to come build it so me and my 9year old took on the task. The directions were pretty simple as far as the steps but lacked details. For instance, the indented groves where the screws go, they all need to be facing the same direction. We put the wrong wooden poles on the wrong side. The screw holes were facing opposite directions which required us to take it apart and reassemble. The entire bed is put together with an Allen wrench. If you have a power tool with that attachment youll be good to go. We did it by hand and our fingers hate us! The wooden slates that hold up the mattress is put together with a screw driver. This definitely taught me being an independent woman is not always fun lol. The bed is perfect and low to the ground. My 1 year old loves it and her big brothers tried to take over her room. I ordered an 8 inch memory foam mattress from Wayfair to go with it. 8-10 inches is recommended for this bed. I think 10 inches wouldve made it too high. Its definitely worth purchasing but use power tools and a man if possible lol.

    Cute Bed

This bed is super cute. Two things though its a pain to put together and it needs a bunnies board which was hard to find.

    Value for the price

Pros: affordable, cute, fits the mattress well, as sturdy as would be expected for the price although I wouldnt let my kids hang on it or anything. My husband didnt have any issues with assembly. Cons: one of the main reasons I chose this one was that in the stock photo it looks like theres a gap between the bed frame and the floor. While there is slats and a slight gap on the ends, its not an all around gap like I had hoped.

    Good starter bed

Alright , let me start by saying this was a pain in the butt. The only thing clear on assembly was the letters on the wood, and the hardware numbered. If you are shorter than 55 might want some help holding the top boards while you screw-in the bolts. That said, I did manage to get it put together. Not sure why the the top boards didnt come with dowels since there are holes for them but only 16 dowels provided. It would make it more sturdy for sure. Wood is pretty crappy and one bolt/screw split the board, so I put that board at the tippie top. Definitely not for your kids to climb on. After you, read the directions and then re read them its not too bad to put together. They are worse than . Took me about 2 1/2 hours. Next , the mattress frame boards do not come with pre hole marks for placement on the frame. Dumb. It says 300 mm apart at this one section. I suggest looking at the pictures of the product and scrolling down till you see the mattress frame. Then line up your boards like theirs and forget the directions. Find yourself a different Allen wrench. The one they provide either has to be the dumbest thing or mine came broken. Im giving it a 3 because it was such a pain but it does look pretty darn cute and its low to the ground. Definitely a good starter bed for toddlers.

You get what you pay for.

Im not impressed but also not upset. Wish it felt a little more sturdier. Also, there is about a two inch gap between the bed and the frame all the way around. When arrived paint was chipped off the wood. My son seems to enjoy it tho. I feel that I will at least get MY moneys worth. I wouldnt purchase if you have older kids that might try to climb in the frame as it isnt sturdy at all.
