Its a cute bed and it should be easy to assemble, but we received an item that was obviously not new, someone had visibly tried to assemble it and broken some pieces, and deformed the central metal bar. We needed it and it was too much of a hassle to send it back so we managed to assemble it anyways but we were disappointed.
Its also higher than I expected but I didnt pay enough attention to the sizes so thats my bad. It will do with a security rail,yet.
The bed itself is nice looking and seems ok. Until you try to sleep on it. We assembled it pretty easily, but when my husband opened the package with the wooden slats that go on the bed, it was immediately apparent that they are too far apart. There were about 5/6 slats TOTAL for the entire bed frame (twin size). Even with a firm mattress, I could feel the slats underneath. Way too few pieces. If you go to the and Lilly website online, you will see that they sell a brand new set of slats, which comes with TWICE as many pieces and is much sturdier. But of course that is 70 extra, you have to buy it separately. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying a new bed if you ask me (they should be included!). When I contacted the company abut this, they told me the slats that come with this bed are the old version and the ones sold online are upgraded. Ok fine, but then dont sell the cheap version to customers online. But other than that its nice
The bed itself is nice. Love the blue color. There were two issues, one not the fault of the manufacturer so Im not reducing the rating. The trouble started because the footboard was damaged. The company had no trouble sending us another one; however, they delivered the entire bed again and we were instructed to open the packages, remove the piece we needed and send back the rest. We did that but a few days later, we received the entire bed again! Believe it or not, we are having a hard time getting to pick it up. Although the product is very nice, be very careful ordering through ! Im fairly disappointed.
Great look, but slates break quit easily. We added flat piece of plywood under mattress on the bottom trundle bed. Kids on top just automatically walk on it when its out as they get up and its in use. I dont think itll last more than a few years!
I dont like how the trundle slips an slides when on hardwood floors. The wheels should have locks on them. Also the slats on the trundle snapped in half when my husband leaned on it. My husband is about 180lbs and I believe the product supports up to 400lbs (definitely more than 180).For the price I expect better directions and quality
The description states that the trundle fits up to an 8 inch mattress. It does not. I have an 8 inch mattress and does not fit under the bed. such a disappointment

Missing trundle accessories
Bed is very nice looking but came without the trundle hardware kit. Still looking to remedy this issue. Good product for its value
