Expected. I liked the color, fabric ok. I think the sofa is quite uncomfortable , not as it appears. It appears in pictures like is would be nice to cuddle in, but its not quite like that. The arms arent as pillowy as they appear, and the cushions are actually quite hard to sit on. It was extremely easy to assemble. I did it without any help in about 15 minutes. I would say that overall the couch is quite stiff, and I doubt that it will become less tight and stiff with time. Its OK for people to sit on for awhile, but if you are looking for a soft comfy couch you can curl up in, plan on spending more money.

The couch itself is really stiff and I much rather sit in my bed to watch TV than sit on the couch to be honest. After about 14 months of having it, it hasnt really sunk in at all and remained pretty firm. Its pretty small so its perfect for a small apartment, but not comfortable to lay on or sit for long periods of time.

My roommate and I were looking for something small and inexpensive for our first apartment, so we werent expecting an Ethan Allen. However, we cant really use the back cushions. The bottom of the couch isnt wide enough from front to back to accommodate the cushions and a person, so the bottom cushion kind of hits mid/thigh (for reference, I am 54). Fine if you just need to sit, but not great if you actually want to be comfy. We end up just taking the back cushions off and using pillows instead. It works, but the design could use some adjustments.
Excellent product! Its the main couch in my 550 square/foot apartment. I find it comfortable enough. Its a cheap couch so you cant expect the world out of it. For the price five stars. It was easy enough to assemble but I would definitely have two people. With the arms we had issues trying to get it in. I believe we were trying to slide the arm on from the top down. Eventually we tried sliding it from the bottom up and that works better so just try different angles itll go in. It shipped in one big box I was worried it would be too big to get into my incredibly narrow apartment stairwell but it just fit. You are not carrying this box alone. Im 53 and can lay fully on it. My ex who is 510 can sit comfortably on it. Cushion is wide enough to fit your booty completely and utterly. Its a firm couch so if you like that thats good. The back cushions are removable the bottom cushions are sewed in. Color was true to picture . It shipped quickly. Ive had it 6 months, pic is from 6 months so its holding up but also its just me here; theres apartment no kids or dogs roughhousing on it or anything like that
