There has been no stain applied to this wood, they just sanded/sealed an unfinished 2x4, which we LOVE the look of. Ties in perfectly with the Boho/Scandinavian vibes in our home.

Initially, I wasnt sure I wanted a headboard to go with the bed frame but I feel like this was the perfect compromise! Its low enough that it doesnt draw attention, but also prevents the pillows from slipping off!
Quality workmanship! This bed was not to difficult to assemble, and once together it was very sturdy. It smells like fresh wood which is pleasant. It was a bit short, but I bought a set of bed risers and it is perfect. Great guest bed!
The assembly instructions are incredibly difficult. They do not label which screws etc go where and that honestly added hours to assembly. I figured out by trial and error. I do not recommend buying this if you arent experienced at putting things together by yourself or will be assembling this alone. If it was convenient for me to send it back I would.
Five Stars love the color This bed frame was very easy to put together to be honest! I love to build things and take things apart so this was fun for me! The only downfall is the instructions, I wish it was a little more specific when it came to which way things were supposed to face, I wish there were labels! I had to take certain sections a part a couple of times because they faced the wrong way but other than that its very nice and I love the color. Worth it.
If you are building use the instructions and pay close attention to the parts which way they go!
100% satisfaction The bed is well and cleverly engineered for ease of build and for sturdiness. Well packaged, well thought out design. Would have liked a larger picture of the legs for proper build positioning, but made do with a magnifying glass. Construction and materials are much superior to other platform beds Ive built over the years. Altogether a superior product.
Highly recommend! For the money, its a good bed frame. My 17 year old daughter and her friend put it together with no problem. Sturdy enough for a couple light weight people.
My apartment smelled wonderfully like lumber while I was building this bed - its good wood. Been using it for a few weeks now and its very sturdy.
I put maybe 3 hours into building this bed, though I was only using hand tools. Id recommend a power drill. 1 Because my hands were pretty sore after, and 2 I have 3 screws leftover, that should have gone into the center supports, that I just gave up on as I couldnt get them to take to the wood with elbow grease alone. But hey, beds still sturdy even missing those 3!
received with good condition... thanks seller... good job This came undamaged with all parts included. The bare wood pieces arrived well-sanded/planed, and I simply added several coats of shellac to get a nice natural finish. Very sturdy.

The package the bed frame came in is incredibly heavy (dont know how the UPS person even got it up the stairs to my apartment). So, just be aware of that when its being delivered. I did get the king sized bed frame so that may have affected the weight.
Assembly is kind of confusing. The instructions are in black and white so it is not super straight forward. If youre planning on getting a bigger sized bed like a queen or king I would for sure have another person help assemble if possible. All the pieces were in the box and it all fit together as it should.
The headboard is fairly small but I like that look. I have about a 14 mattress in the picture for reference.
Overall, really great product!!! And bonus is that it makes your bedroom smell like freshly cut wood.
This is a great piece. Bought it for the basement family room and it fits perfectly down there. The bed is very sturdy. I bought it for my daughter and was nervous to lay on it with her. I flopped down onto the bed test it out and it didnt even flinch. The color is very natural and fits our boho theme perfect. I wish it was a little higher off the ground but I bought it knowing it was a low profile bed.
