The bed is perfect the material is very steady it was fairly easy to assemble and it holds on very well however if you are considering transitioning your toddler from a crib to a bed i would recommend to get something bigger.
At first i was looking for something with bars so it can prevent her from falling but still give her the ability to go in and out whenever she wanted to however she will fall out or sometimes when i go check her i find her laying with half of the body handing out from the bed or her legs sticking out now keep in my my daughter is a cry sleeper which was the reason why i wanted something with bars in first place. Luckily the bed is not tall at all so if they fall its not from high up, however i still need to keep an extra mattress in from of the bed every night to prevent her from falling (fiy i did not place the bottom part as a drawer i left it empty and i just stick the mattress down there every morning and pull it back out every night).
In conclusion the bed is really good quality but a bit small when transitioning from crib to toddler bed. I thought since she had no problems sleeping in her crib she would have bo problems sleeping in a bed that is te same size but no. Not having the bars all around the crib does not prevent them from falling a 100
Love this bed, but the drawer underneath doesnt go in straight. Some of the wood must have been just slightly warped. Aside from that, great bed. If I had to do it over again though, Id get the one without the drawer and just use under/bed bins.
The bed came in great condition, very easy to assemble and no visible damage like some of the reviews. The only reason I knocked a star on value is I had to bend the metal on the drawers just so it would stay on track otherwise its perfect.
