I purchased this fan to replace a noisy Hunter Palermo fan that no longer reached its high speed. I purchased only Hunter fans for the last 25 years, or so, but more than one developed issues (mainly noise, but also speed as mentioned above).
I decided to try the Minka Air and have liked it a lot. If you can remove a ceiling fan, you can install this one. It was pretty easy. It has 6 speeds so you can go from moving the air only a little to a lot and it very quiet thus far on any speed.
The light provides plenty of light, too.
Looks great like the app. My husband said install easy. We have it wired to existing switch so one turns on light other fan. The we control dim and speed via app or remote.
Love the sleek style and small but bright led light. The remote has 6 speeds, reverse, adjustable brightness and on/off. Havent hooked it up to me Alexa yet.
