DO NOT GET THIS BED IF YOU HAVE A THICK MATTRESS. This is designed for thin mattressesalmost like the ones that come default in college dorm rooms. Just put my memory foam mattress that is about 11 thick on the frame and the head board doesnt even look like a head board anymoremore like a footboard (refer to photos). I even left my old headboard in the background for reference. But yeah if you have a mattress thicker than 8 (as far as mattress height) I would not recommend this frame. (And 8 is pushing itthe little gap between the barred base and the headboard is about 6 inches, so if you want the full headboard showing, a mattress 6 or thinner is the best option. But yeah they shouldve designed the headboard to be higher up.
It was very easy to assemble though, took me less than 30 mins to do. And so far it does seem sturdy.
But yeah not really happy with the purchase because of the headboard but keeping because I dont feel like disassembling it and sending it back. Dont bother!
Received this bed today, assembly was smooth (10/15 minutes) until I ran into 2 parts that were bent, but I just pried them back into shape with a flathead and it worked out well. Bed looks great and is sturdy Do the work.
Assembly easy. It really didnt take long me and my 8 yo put it together. We were so excited to purchase this bed and put it together however it has already broken and were crushed. The poles easily bend so yea we have to get rid of it now. All of the poles bended and we tried to unbed real carefully and snap ! Now Im searching for a sturdier bed Make sure you double check the height.

Great style but
It was really easy to assemble and great not to have a box spring. The only down fall is you have to tighten the screws periodically. Very good value.

Headboard came damaged and cannot be assembled correctly. Awesome!
