The set-up was simple - the packaging was large because the seat itself is one piece that came preassembled. I move a lot for my husbands job so I appreciate the simplicity of the products maintenance and assembly.
As for comfort, I am pleased! I sit 8 hours a day for 5 days a week and am comfortable. The arm rests are an ideal height. I just may be using them too much since my elbow has been making an impression on the foam already. No big deal though. :)

Its a multi-purpose chair. Meaning it seems to be a cross between a desk chair and living room chair.
I wouldnt want to spend all day sitting in it as its not very padded.
Its large enough for a big guy to sit in, small enough for a kid to use.
After working from home in a antique chair for the past two months, I finally decided to order myself an attractive office chair since my desk and WFH area is in a public part of my house. I needed a chair that would look pretty tucked in a corner when not in use, would match the mid-century style of my desk area, and was comfortable enough to use all day for work. This chair arrived yesterday, and after a day of using it, I can say that it is perfect for my needs. I love the shape and the fact that it has arms. The swivel works perfectly and as designed. The seat is firm and there is sufficient back support without me needing an additional pillow. The chair is the perfect height off the ground for my legs (Im 55 with longer legs/shorter torso) so it doesnt matter for me that the height is not adjustable. The seat is not large, and my butt takes up most of the seating area so be aware that this chair will probably not work for large people (though I am overweight for my height, and it is fine for me).
There was a significant off-gassing smell when it arrived. As of this morning, that smell has almost completely dissipated. If off-gassing smells bother you, I would assemble this chair and leave it alone in another room for a day or two before using it.
