One of the bed rails was broken and seemingly repaired but then was missing the pre/drilled hole and could not be securely attached. Looks nice and was simple to build other than the one issue.
I will say, its not that easy to install, and there were some injuries, but it looks great! The girls love it, and I like how it splits into 2 beds or can stay as bunkbeds. Very stylish, and great value!
I read a lot of bunk bed reviews before deciding to take my chances on this one. I really liked that this bunk bed came with plenty of slats for both beds and that the ladder doesnt take up floor space. As several people have mentioned in the reviews, the quality of the wood could be better. Ive already found several nicks in the wood as well as a small crack on the ladder that wasnt there before. I would say that the bunk bed does feel sturdy though and it doesnt wobble when you climb on it. Our two daughters love their new bunk bed!
The sturdiness of the frame got me kind of scare because the top bunk is held by two small stick like as small as a toothpick so I had my husband drill some attachments just for security. It is not made for teen I mean heavier people to be sleeping on top.
This bed was easy to put together and seems very sturdy. I love the color and after checking around found had the best price. I also purchased the trundle for underneath. I did however need to call because I could not find any information online about a suggested mattress height and I wanted to order the mattresses at the same time I ordered the bed so theyd be here at the same time. I ordered an 8 foam mattress and it fits perfectly. I did see a notation in the assembly directions not to go with a mattress over 8. On a side note; who knew bunk beds were so difficult to put sheets and blankets on! LOL
