Yes, the instructions are in a picture format, but my pieces were all marked, it was just a matter of laying out the pieces as they were marked. I am visually impaired and it was easy. It took me about 30- 45 minutes to put it together by myself with cats wandering around checking it out.
I also used loc-tite on the bolts, since the reviews mentioned the frame squeaking, tightened them down as the instructions indicated. This thing is tight, I have shoved it around while making the bed, and there is no movement at all. I will update if that changes.
I put an 8 memory foam mattress and a 3 topper on this, and so far, the mattress isnt sliding around at all. There are two strips of adhesive on the planks to also hold the mattress on the slats, I tried to lift the mattress and it stuck to them pretty good.
The best feature? The ability to store things under the frame, there is about 13 of space under it, and I got some 5 1/2 Sterilite containers from my local Walmart, and I can stack two of them under the bed. This opened up my closet so I can actually use it.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a sturdy bed frame.
This bed came within 5 days of prime and works and functions as a twin bed flawlessly. I’ve always appreciated bedframe that we’re metal instead of wood so I got this for my son who turns 3 soon. It’s the right size and was easy to put together. Took about 45 minutes though but came with the tools required and necessary to put it together. The bed didn’t have any dents or scratches when I got mine and it was packed well. Everything was condensed. I’d recommend this for the price with how sturdy it is.

Its a solid frame if you are not a land whale. If you are a land whale get the really sturdy ones or sleep on the floor without frame
