My boyfriend and I broke our previous bed frame moving it so we just needed a quick simple bed frame and fast! We got everything we asked for with this bed frame! Fast delivery, easily assembled, the metal being a lot more durable than the wood bed frame we used to have, and it was slightly taller than the last bed we had but I like it so all and all; great product!
Whew, what should have been super easy to assemble turned out wrong. First, parts were labeled incorrectly, but luckily with only 5 parts they could be matched to the drawings. But the really bad error was two holes were mis-drilled, off by half a hole. Again, luckily I have mechanical abilities and was able to ream the whole. CAUTION! If you must, drill only the outside edge. There is a nutplate inside, and if you drill too deep you will destroy the nutplate. I dont know if the average consumer could have done the job. Otherwise it would have been a great, simple bed.
Frankly, I have no idea how to rate this item. The machining is meh, but at under $100 what do you expect?
I had some issues with assembly, needing to add a lot of force to get things to set well. There were a few sets of screws that were hard to install, becuase of some slight twisting of the metal. The wood slats also feel kind of flimsy, and they are held in place with hook and loop (aka generic Velcro. The spacing is as such that there isnt a good way to secure the top blankets under the mattress.
The design is very clever, but I dont know if I would call it sturdy. The cut out for the rails are near the same place, so there isnt much steel there.
It looks nice without a mattress on it, very modern and minimalistic.
I have no idea what the long term durability is on the matters.
So bottom line would I recommend this product? Only if you need an extra bed, and dont want to spend more than $100 on one.

This was very easy to assemble but the paint is already starting to chip off the frame and the Velcro on the slats crackles when I move on the bed. I actually ended up flipping the slats so the Velcro doesn’t connect, but it still makes noise. It’s quieter than a box spring but I’m replacing another platform base which was completely silent, so the crackling is very noticeable to me. I’m only keeping this one because my old base couldn’t support a headboard and this one does, but I’m pretty disappointed with the noise issue.

Easy set up, holds a lot of weight akd is perfect!
