We received this product yesterday. While this product seems like its well made, so far, the manufacturer made the decision to ship this product whole and pre/assembled. A benefit for some consumers, but as a result, it arrived damaged. The horizontal beam on the front side of the bottom was broken off on one end, thus preventing the door from swinging and properly latching.
Im sure the cost of fixing this myself will be much less than the hassle it will take to ship back this entire product, as is.
Ill still give this a 4/5 star rating in the hopes that this is not the norm. Space saver.
Looks great price is right! After reading reviews I was a bit concerned however I was able to put this together with only 2 small glitches. 1. The picture in step 3 does not go in the same direction as the actual item, being a lefty I figured it out quickly. Just follow instructions and youll be good. 2 be really careful putting the screws in, Its only particle board after all. Took about 30 minutes. I love it (I actually bought 2) Thank you so much.
I like the size. It had some damage but I wasnt going to take it apart to be able to return it so I kept it. Assembly was OK. Not the easiest, but not the hardest Ive ever done. Doesnt feel real sturdy, but not flimsy either. Instructions had no helpful hints to figure correct positioning of pieces. Very functional.
So this is a great item, the balance of the middle beam is a little weird. Also aligning it was a bit troublesome. But so far it has been great. Super.
Some parts were kind of annoying to put together and it didnt seem sturdy, had to really put some elbow grease in at some points. Now that i made sure it could withstand my husband or I sitting on it without it rattling, it seems pretty sturdy ( i know this piece isnt meant to last a long time!). Just wanted to have a clean place to take shoes off and store them upon entering my home so we can enforce no shoes rule! Looks nice and sturdy.
This fits perfectly for our entry way. It took much much longer then expected. It said in stock with delivery date every week I went to view it it showed many in stock but was never shipped so I couldnt even track shipping. ( Maybe because of COVID but it was frustrating) The directions were not easy for me but Im nit a person who puts furniture like ikea furniture together . Also, the pieces that hold the shelf in, keep popping out despite the wood glue I used. However if one stays in it still works. Despite the shipping, directions that piece that falls out, I actually would buy it again ! Its thin and fits in our e try way (as others I found were to wide and blocked the door from opening all the way. The bottom of your shoes contain so many germs so I like guests to take their shoes off and its a great place to store them and sit to take them off and on. If it wasnt for the directions and that piece that keeps popping out I I would have given it 5 stars. The price I paid however was inexpensive compared to others I shopped so overall the value is worth it. thanks great product.

I bought this twice but every time this product was damaged. This product didnt meet my expectations. Holds things.

Works perfectly
So this is a great item, the balance of the middle beam is a little weird. Also aligning it was a bit troublesome. But so far it has been great. Super.
Very good looking but the hell to assemble
It took half a day to assemble it due to poor instructions but its very charming. Great price and somewhat durable.

Great Shoe bench for value and use.
