Assembled width was 11.25 instead of the 9.45 advertised. Other dimensions are as listed. Assembles easily, seems sturdy, looks nice, but the extra width was wider than the space that I wanted to fit the shelves into. Also, the box oddly lists the width as 11(H), indicating that its 11 inches high. Unstable.
We used to keep our shoes in a basket by the door, but they would get scuffed, flattened, dirty and smelly. Bought this so my husband could have somewhere to sit and put his shoes on. He liked it and I got jealous, so I bought my own. It was perfect!
Its not as stable as one might expect. We glued a 1x4 under the seat lengthwise. Now it feels stable. Other than that, its quite practical. Better directions.
This shoe bench is great. Feels sturdy to sit on. Holds about 6 pairs of shoes. Fits nicely next to my door. The has a nice aesthetic. It was also easy to put together. Would definitely buy again.
