I am a very satisfied customer. I bought this for myself and I was hesitant at first because of its capacity. I am 130lbs and it fits well in my room and I love the add on desk. I installed this bed with the help of one person. It was not that complicated although it took me 4/5 hours to build. It also comes with detail instruction manual. You dont need any drill to install it because a screw is provided to tighten it. It is a must have bed if you want to minimize your space especially having a small room. It is a great buy and I recommend this bed. Although it is built for mostly children or teenager, adults also can enjoy. If you are below 150 lbs. Youre good. Comfortable and high quality!
I bought this bed after reading other raving reviews. I am definitely not disappointed! I love my loft bed! My 13/yr/old daughter and I put it together over a period of 8 hours (we took breaks when the fighting started!). The bolts were all clearly labeled and sorted. I only used the allen wrench that came with the bed. I work from home so this is the perfect set up for me. It is well built, heavy, and sturdy. You will need help unloading it from the delivery truck. Fortunately for me, the driver stepped up and got the VERY HEAVY box to my porch. I opened the box on the porch and carried the pieces upstairs individually. I highly recommend this bed! ALL GOOD!
First if you ordered the silver it is more of a grey. Now when you are assembling DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS ALL THE WAY UNTILL YOU ARE FINISHED! We did this and tried to put in a bolt that did not align and broke one of screw holes, also when the bed arrives on of the poles were damaged, but that was covered by the wall when we were done. There is a tiny tiny shake but you can barley feel it. Our video is attached. So far meets my expectations
I got my loft bed about a week ago, and I must say I love it! The fact that its a loft leaves me with plenty of room to fit more things in my small apartment room, and supplies me with a sturdy desk area to put my computer and give me an area to work and play games. And its a great price to boot!
I will say this about the bed, however. Though it is sturdy, I will say that it does wobble, both when you climb the ladder to get up on the bed, and if you roll around on the bed. Ive read some other reviews saying that once you are on the bed, it doesnt move, and that just isnt true. The legs arent super thick, so a little wobble when you move around is to be expected. That being said, it isnt anything that bothers me personally, and it doesnt move enough to disturb myself or the things I have on the desk beneath me. Im mostly just saying this for anyone that may be a super restless sleeper, it may be a problem or keep you awake more. Another note, some reviews complain about the ladder hurting your feet, but it hasnt been much of a problem for me. Just a bit of discomfort, but no pain.
Another thing is assembly. It isnt hard to put together and can be done by yourself, but I will say it can get a bit arduous, and an extra set of hands to help will greatly speed up the process, even if that person is just helping hold something up.
Those things aside, Im super happy with this bed thus far, and recommend it to anyone looking to save a little space! Its a fantastic price.
the ladder looked a littler wider in the picture. It is sort of uncomfortable climbing up. MUST put padding on the ladder for a softer climb. It is sturdy and not cheaply made for a metal frame Hard to put together. Definitely a team effort. I spent 2 and half hours assembling it. may be returning
I bought this for my 15 year old son when his brother went off to college and he saw how college kids lived with elevated beds / I was absolutely amed that every single screw hole lined up 100, not one piece was missing, it was exactly as advertised. That just never happens / for under 300 this is impressive. This product was exactly what I was hoping for
